Ana Jimenez will return to Allure in the Suites Lounge on 08/14/2016

Any more "votes" or opinions?
Really prefer Izumi, especially the sushi bar side - not a big fan of greasy hibachi, but love the show and watching our friends enjoying it. Have had one very good meal at Sabor, but last October on the Allure crossing to Fort Lauderdale, we went twice and they didn't have any ripe avocados, so we left twice - how do you eat Mexican without guacamole?

Might it be worth it to risk the 11:30am nonstop? Transfer to Nice airport is 35km...maybe 40 minutes? If you can disembark at 8AM it should work? Or am I missing something?
There are a couple of nice solutions we've come up with over the years of Regent cruising. First thing to remember is that if you can afford to cruise with Regent, give yourself a pat on the back! If you want to take a particular flight that leaves at a great time and has efficient or no connections, consider disembarking and spending a night in the port of embarkation or near the airport, and then have a leisurely, stress free departure the next day. Another great tactic, when you have an overnight onboard in your disembarkation city, is to have a lovely day, and even dinner onboard, and departing the ship the night before everyone else disembarks. This plan works well in Asia and the Middle East. These tips involve a deviation fee if you're not Platinum or Titanium, but they allow you to end your holiday in a stress free manner - a great way to go!

Thank You.
How was the trip?
We were on the Mariner all the way from Tahiti to buenos Aires & it was fantastic, though we did have a lot of wind, so we missed Pitcairn Island & the Falklands. Regent only provided an intransit lounge at a hotel in Puerto Madero for the whole day, so if you haven't been to BA you may want to organize a private day tour to see the sights. When is your trip?

Can anyone tell me what airlines Regent uses from Buenos Aires to Miami?
Also can you choose an aisle seat without doing a deviation???
Just returned yesterday & Regent had us on AA flight 900 at 8:20pm. While that may seem late, we had the EARLIEST flight of the whole group, as all flights to Miami are late at night, and many had flights near midnight. A deviation won't help in this situation.

On the ship now & the captain announced we will not depart until at least 8pm due to inspections being performed. We will be at dinner (starboard side), unfortunately, so will miss a beautiful sail away. Not picking on NJ, by the way.

We've never been given an upgrade although we are only platinum. We had an upsell (NCL) a long time ago from an aft mini to a forward facing penthouse. Holy balcony Batman! You could fit 35 people on it!
We booked a grand suite for our cruise in 2016 (too far away!) and am wondering if the possibility of an upgrade to an OS is worth it? I mean the grand suite has a bigger balony. What's your thoughts??
We love everything about the GS, so have no desire to upgrade to OS. Did you also notice that the OS has only queen bed, while the GS has a king - that's one reason we'll stick, plus we've never been able to fill all the closets & drawers, and the bathroom is huge!
All that being said, if they offered a free upgrade, sure we'd try it!

Just one more quick note! We first cruised back in the 80's on Rennaisance with only 116 passengers - fabulous beyond belief! Since then we have been on every size ship imaginable - you either love cruising or you don't. We took our first RCI just over a year ago(the Jewel out of Tampa) and fell in love with RCI (have cruised Crystal,Silverseas, Regent, etc.). I think they have a wonderful blend for all price points of cruisers & everyone blends together (except for those few very elitist snobs that everyone talks about), but every cruise line has a few of those - trust me! We were so thrilled during our transatlantic last fall on the Liberty that we got off for one day & then boarded Allure for week - loved every second of it! Will be doing a transatlantic on Allure in October 2015 - it's that good!

Don't know Catalina, but Diego is fabulous! He was our first experience with a Concierge & he set the bar really high!!

Was just on Liberty 10/20/2013 - 11/09/2013 and concierge (excellent, by the way) was Carlos Ortiz. Then on the Allure 11/10 - 11/17/2013 and we had Rahim and Dexter.

I book through a TA and I just email her after I have checked a seating chart for the flight in question and she has it changed to my preferred seats within hours. Have also done it myself, with no problem. Just ask for the airline reservation number.
