Yeah I did try that. Couldnt find anything from the last couple years. Figured I would take a shot here.
He was/is brilliant. We saw him on splendour on our first cruise 2013 and were fortunate enough to have him on two further cruises. The last one was in 2017 and i'm almost sure he said he was being moved to the far east or Australia. Be great if we struck lucky a fourth time.

It was $89.00 buy one get second half price so $133.5 per day. Not sure if that included the 18% gratuity though. Might be cheaper to buy before you go
Thanks Phil

Thanks for the heads up as one of our party is Vegan. Do you know what they are charging for the drinks package onboard?

Hello Guys
I am considering putting a website together in advance of a cruise for 5 couples prior to my 60th cruise next year.
It's intention is to inform all the new cruisers what to expect and provide information on the ship and ports we are visiting.
I would love it if anybody has any links to similar sites for ideas and inspiration.
Many thanks Brian

roger b...please help...we want to DIY.
It will be our first time stopping in Palma.
How do we get from the cruise terminal to town?
Shuttle? Bus? or is it walking distance? Thank you.
If you dock where I think you will because of the size of her you don't need a shuttle out of the port as it can be walked in 5 minutes. However the ship will certainly offer a shuttle to the drop of area by the Cathedral which is a good hours walk. I think the shuttle was 5 Euros which to me was a no brainer. Once of the shuttle you cross the main road and the Cathedral is directly in front of you. once the Cathedral is out of the way there are plenty of lovely side streets and shops but be warned they are uphill, not severely but uphill nonetheless. Beautiful City. We are on this same cruise in October.

I would put the Airport address.

We are sailing on Allure of the seas out of Barcelona on 11th Oct 2020. On Leaving the ship a week later flights back home don't leave until 21:30 hrs. Do you know if RC offer an extended day on board.

I can assure you that on Royal Caribbean and Celebrity they have a fantastic offering of Beers from around the world. International brand catering to International Guests? The new Craft Bars on Celebrity are a real ale drinkers dream.

Hi all, just downloaded my copy of the Guest Ticket Booklet. It states that boarding time for our deck is 12.45pm we are Captain's Club Classic Members. We will be staying in Southampton the night before so would it be OK to arrive at 11am so we could enjoy the ship early.
Thank you all.
We had the same letter and every man and his dog arrived at 11:00am which was a bit annoying at first but in truth they know what they're doing in Southampton and we were on the ship within half an hour.

Which side of the ship, port or starboard, would be be better on a Westbound Panama Canal cruise?
Sounds like the aft is more appropriate?

Does anybody know the onboard prices of the 'three night' and 'four night' speciality restaurant packages on cruises in the Mediterranean? We are going in a couple of weeks.

I was looking at the dining packages for our upcoming cruise and noticed that 'Quisine' is missing from the list. Has this been shut down and if so is it being replaced with a new venue? Of course it could just have been missed off by mistake on Celebrity website?

Yes you can. Depending on the length of the cruise there will be a cut off date but it's usually past the half way mark.;p;p;pIs it possible when you have the Classic Non Alcoholic package to change your mind a few days in on the ship and upgrade to the Classic Alcoholic Package? -
The $10 per day plus gratutity was the standard upgrade cost prior the the increase in the cost of the Premium package.
Still advertised over here as the same price?
How much have you guys been quoted?

I am wondering if anyone knows if it is reliable to wait until you depart in Naples and find a driver at the port to take a small group down the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii and make it back to the ship in time?
Not a chance! do your homework and research providers in the area. We have used Aldo limos twice whilst in Naples for Amalfi tours and their attention to detail is superb. They are waiting for you as you exit the terminal and they drop you back off at the terminal door. Both times the drivers were informative and spoke great English. They were integral to a great trip. Aldo's wife is English and comes from a town called Chorley which is close to us in Merseyside. They use modern Mercedes and are lovely people. So much so Aldo even told us where to dine for lunch in Sorrento in a place he described as 'Mamas cooking', he wasn't lying and dirt cheap! Strongly recommend . https://www.aldolimos.com/

Wondering if others would mind reporting back the offers they have received recently from bartenders ti upgrade from classic to premium drink package. Some have previously reported 2 for 1 offers, I believe we got 2 or 3 days for free on our 12 night at Christmas. What have others received lately?
We recently sailed on silhouette (30 April Norwegian Fjords) from Southampton and the barman from the Martini bar who we recognised from a previous cruise offered an upgrade from classic to premium for 10 bucks a day plus tax. I bought it but my wife didn't need it. With the benefit of hindsight neither did I but it was nice knowing there was nothing I couldn't try. However when I way up what I had of the premium package I would have been better off sticking with the classic and then paying the difference for the odd drinks I had of the premium menu. Live and learn eh!

Leaving on cruise May 14. Where does X buy their lettuce? With the e-coli outbreak is it wise to have salads?
Is this a wind up question?

One of the things I like most about Celebrity is that I don't have to rent a wheelchair. I tell them ahead of time that I require a w/c to board and they will have one (with an attendant) ready for me when I arrive at the dock. On board it depends on where my cabin is located and what ship I'm on so I don't always need a w/c to get around on the ship but I do use one when I go ashore and they always have them available at the end of the gangway. If your Mums are not used to using motorized scooters I would not recommend a cruise as the place to try one out! The public areas can be very crowded making it difficult for a regular user of a scooter to get around let alone someone who's just learning! There is one grab bar in the shower, which is easy enough to get in but a second one would be helpful. Remind them NOT to touch the bar between the water faucets as it gets very hot!!! If they have balance issues (like me) I would suggest a pair of rubber beach shoes for the shower...sometimes the floor can be slippery and the "bathmat" is more for comfort than accident prevention. I also bring a small high powered flashlight that I keep on the bedside table for getting up in the middle of the night. There is a night light in the bathroom but first you have to get TO the bathroom. I've been on the Eclipse 4x so far..... the staff on board the ship is wonderfully helpful and considerate. My only complaint about Eclipse is there are only 2 elevator stations....one forward and one midship....and it's a very long walk from the stern (aft) cabins to the nearest elevator.
Thank you!

Very thoughtful of you. One suggestion is to make sure she brings her walker she uses and makes sure it has a seat and has handbrakes. One of those upscale walkers. Very much needed because although the ship is pretty stable, even in good weather it can have a subtle roll that would be an issue for someone with balance issues. Not a bad rolling but just enough to cause concern.
From your initial comments, it sounds like she doens’t need a scooter but if she does, others can tell you the options, including renting one to be avail on the ship.
Den
Thank you Den!

I'm sure you'll get some answers here, but if you haven't already, have a look at this board. I think there is also a specific section for Europe.

Thank you for your kind words and the link will prove a great help.

Ensalmo Boles was fantastic. Had three cruises with him on board. Anybody know what he’s up to now?
