  1. Is 3 hours enough time? The day we are in port the only available tour is 8:30am - 11:30am & I am just wondering if this is enough time? I am also wondering what to do after this tour if we decide to do it. Someone mentioned going to see 'the flamingos'? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

  2. Golf cart rentals sounds great for Bonaire. Can you be a little more specific with some things like.....where did you go? Did you stop at any beaches or restaurants? Are they gas or electric golf carts? Was there anything that you did that you would recommend doing? Thanks so much for your time!!

  3. Unfortunately The Baths have become a very popular excursion for cruisers. I do agree, it is a great way to spend a day in The BVI's. I'd have to disagree about getting there now. Ferry's are packed & if you are not on one of the early departures your visit could be miserable. By going on a charter you're only with a few who are also doing the same excursion. I'd definitely not recommend spending the whole day there now, which is why I'd recommend a charter again. We have visited the BVI's via Cruise ships as well as land stays on Jost Van Dkye & Peter Island. Sadly it has changed dramatically over the years. One thing is for sure, anywhere you go in the BVI's you won't be disappointed with the snorkeling.

  4. ARISTOCAT Charters, The Lionheart. Great day on a Catamaran. Brings you to the Baths at Virgin Gorda, usually crowded but definetley a must see if you're going to the BVI's. Plenty of time for snorkeling, swimming to the Baths & sightseeing on the Cat. You can't go wrong. It's a bit pricey but SO worth it.

  5. Same here, we have cruised many times & have never 'swam' in any of the pools. They are really made to just cool off. On an NCL we've sailed last May the H2O adult only section doesn't even have a pool, it was a 'wetting station' for lack of a better term. Enjoyable just the same as we really do look to just cool off. My concern was the actual enforcement of children in the Serenity area, which has been answered, thank you. We love kids but find it enjoyable to be able to retreat to a quiet area. ; )

  6. BAR1068, I am wondering if you could tell me about Sunshine. This will be the first time my family will be cruising with Carnival. We usually do RCCL but we are more 'port' orientated that ship orientated. Sunshine on December 10 is our choice this year. We still enjoy a nice ship. Just looking for some info on the ship and feedback from an actual cruiser who has been on it. Thanks so much in advance for your time.

  7. My husband and I also just returned today. The weather was awful in Bermuda but we still had a great time, just not at the beaches. First time on NCL and we loved it!! Made some reservations prior to sailing and some on the ship when we boarded, we had no problems getting times at decent hours. The Noodle Bar was great! We had no problems bringing food out of the Garden Cafe. Ordered room service once, Caesar Salad & a BLT, both delish! We usually cruise RCCL but we think we found a new cruise line to sail with. We really liked NCL. Service was excellent and friendly. Jeffrey, our cabin attendant was perfect. We thought the food was excellent everywhere we ate at any mealtime. Looking forward to cruising again with NCL.
