Embarcation was a nightmare, unfortunately. Over 3 hours in lines for us to get on the ship. We were fortunate though because some people waited in excess of 6 hours. We are not going to Virginia as planned due to the long embarcation time and are not leaving port here until midnight due to the water current. So I guess we will not have to test again since no one will be getting off the ship prior to our arrival there.

My husband and I are fully vaccinated. What happens if you are negative on the test prior to boarding but test positive on the test prior to arriving in Bermuda? What do they do with you?
-
Has anyone waited and purchased onboard? What was the cost? Thanks!

We are sailing on the Breakaway February 25th to the Bahamas. On Tuesday February 27th we will be in Port Canaveral and wanted to rent a car for a few hours. The car rental agencies are either closed on Tuesday or they close earlier and do not offer drop off when closed. I know we did this last time. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

I still am a little uncertain. If you buy the beverage package and pay the 18% gratuity on the package price, do you still get charged 18% on the price of the drink when you order? Thanks!

We have a cruise coming up in a few weeks. I purchased insurance through insuremytrip.com and checked with our private insurance(Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield) and we are covered with them as well. If you have a medical emergency while on the ship are you expected to pay for all the medical costs incurred and then submit to insurance? I can't imagine everyone who sails can pay for everything upfront. Just wondering:confused:

Thanks so much!

How can I determine if cabin 12744 on the Breakaway has the bed by the door or the balcony? Thanks!
-
So then we have 3 places to eat at, the buffet, the main dining room and O'Sheehans?

I wanted to thank you all for the great pictures you have been posting. We are going on the December 5th cruise. I have been watching the prices on some of the discount cruise sites and I noticed the prices of the balcony cabins are less than the insides and ocean view. Why is that?

It's almost the same as the August promo...you get 4 different freebies to choose from...drinks, WiFi, dining, not sure about the last one

Any word if there will be a new promotion offered for September?

QVC sell a brand called Vionic for people with heel problems. Here is an example but they have several dressier options.

My grandmother could get any stain out with Lestoil.

This thread has been very quite. Here is a picture to freshening up.
We went to Santa Anita race track last Saturday. Did not win much, but had a great time.
Donna Karan dress.
You look beautiful in that hat!

I have been following this thread for months and there are so many beautiful dresses. I previously posted the one I got for the more formal night on the Breakaway but I ordered another for when we go to our specialty dinner. I figured I could use it around the holidays also and you can't have too many dresses.;) I got this one in navy.

I believe someone told me that the $20 cover charge for the Ice Bar includes 2 drinks. Am I correct? Thanks!

Try www.sammoon.com for jewelry as well. The prices are great, so you won't feel the least bit guilty.
I don't have a cruise room, or really just cruise clothes. However, I do plan things out pretty extensively. We sail in about 2 weeks, and I have every outfit, pair of shoes and jewelry completely picked out. Since I don't want them packed into a suitcase yet, they are in a special area of the closet, waiting patiently.
Hopefully, I won't be the only person wearing a full length dress on formal night on Majesty, seeing it's just a 3 day cruise. I love dressing up.
That's a great site. I found a few pieces I like. Thanks!:)

Uh oh, guilty :o
But not on the Fashion board!
Here we are very friendly :)

Welcome to Cruise Critic and the friendliest forum on it!
Wow! I watch HSN often but have not seen anything like this. Enjoy your cruise and be sure to have pictures taken.
Thank you. I also bought 3 other casual dresses on clearance. They were between 9 and 15 dollars!

I agree with you about this being the friendliest forum. I've been leery of posting because I have seen some strong personalities!;)

That's a great dress! Love it, but then I love black & white together.
Thank you!

No, it was said that they didn't have enough people working by one of the employees. They were having people that didn't do the authorization submit it then and then we're allowed to board.
