At FLL, is there a special area to drop off luggage for retreat guests? Similar to the white tent for yacht club on MSC.

There seems to be a lot of complaints regarding cuts and prices. How is Celebrity better than other mass cruise lines these days?

A friend had to cancel cruise at last minute due to Covid. MSC said they would only give a FCC due to late cancellation and refund the taxes. Wanting a full refund he filed an insurance claim.  The insurance company paid his claim. A few days later he received  a full refund from MSC!!!!

I suggested that he notify the insurance company to check his position as he did not want to risk insurance fraud. If the insurance company did not want reimbursement then he would double dip. I also told him to not contact MSC as that would probably get top convoluted.

Did I give the correct advice?

Well said. Nothing like letting everyone know you have money. The staff must be disappointed with those like me who tip a quarter of that amount despite MSC suggesting not to tip individual staff members.

Sailing in Yacht Club on May 7, first time on MSC. Original 10AM check in time was changed to 2:30 PM! Transportation plans were based on original time. If I show up at 10:30, will I have any issues boarding at that time? Any guidance would be appreciated.

Have bid for Suite for Nov 28 sailing - 7 days away.  My status is pending with at least 3 of my bid category cabins still available. Need some insight regarding the bid acceptance policy. Thank you.

Looking at Quest's Turkey day cruise.- November 21. Why would they schedule St. John's for Thanksgiving Day and St. Bart's for a Sunday? Seems that there would be very little open on those days!

Booked for 10 day West Indies cruise. Does this suite have king bed or 2 twins pushed together? Would vibration and possibly soot be issues for this itinerary?

Thanks for the responses. Can I assume that the minor annoyances mentioned would not stop you booking the Owner's Suite again? Is this suite worth the increased cost over the Club Ocean and Club Spa (which appears to have a tiny balcony) Suites?

Other than size and location, what do you get that you do not get in a Club Ocean Suite? Does it have a separate guest washroom (1.5 vs. 1 baths)? Is it worth getting a Like Package with this suite?

I have been unable to access cruise planner for my reservation for several days. Have tried with iPad, Mac using Safari and Chrome, and iPhone. I was able to access online check in. However after exiting the check in page (using the appropriate tab) was locked out for a while. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Can you eat breakfast in Blu and dinner in MDR if in an aqua class cabin?

The small print for this promo says not available with choice air. Do they mean choice air specials like the January promo or choice air period. Thanks.
