  1. :(in the aftermath of Hurricanes Irma and Maria, when will Oceania advise the passengers of the new itineraries in the Caribbean. A lot of the islands are devastated and need help, not a lot of tourist making demands. I would think it would be at least 6 months to a year to be back in shape. Just need a few thoughts.

    Thanks.

  2. Hello,

Have sailed on both lines many times.

On O, no interaction with officers, very few late night stays, no overnights (well maybe some), no ice cream social or white nights and deck BBQ. But overall love the renovations of the cabins and public spaces on O. On the larger ship, great, no cost specialty restaurants. Better itineraries, Az needs some new ones, ships need renovations and not just public spaces and suites. We have 3 O cruises booked and still waiting for Az to come up with changes.

  3. Hi Rhea,

We did cancel and did a February Riviera. We are now looking at summer 2016,

Found a few but not enough info yet, Simona said to wait a bit. We still have the 50 off from Insignia. Let's stay in touch about 2016 and maybe be on the same ship. All the best to you and Michael.

  4. Laraine,

Sailed on the Journey B2B in July 2013. Can't say enough good things about Azamara. The overnights, late nights and amazing evenings are just what makes Azamara great. O is good, we have been on the R ships, and Riviera. We just booked the Insignia for July 2014. We did this because of the ports, but my heart is with Azamara. I agree with you about the personal attention from staff. Your review was spot on. O new cancel policy is a little strict.

  5. Bill,

Would the ship have an AE in the afternoon? On the March 16th sailing, the late ports are Les Saintes and St Barths, both are tendered. If the ship is very full it is a problem tendering.

In July on the Journey, in Santa Margarita we were tendered in for AE and it did take a bit of time.

That is why I asked about the afternoon. Thank you for a reply.

    Suzanne
