GSC just cancelled due to high winds, sea swells, and cold temperatures.

Just heard Haven received the news not stopping at GSC today.  Nothing for the rest of us peons.  Weather advisory shows GALE force winds coming.  I’ll wait for the 9:00 announcement.

Seas are pretty calm this morning.  Probably will be stopping at GSC today.

I tried to book the Cabo Camel Ride Excursion for the Bliss on Monday, and was told by the Shorex consultant that the excursion was sold out.  I looked at my available excursions yesterday, and it was back on the list.  Needless to say I called right away and reserved that excursion!  I’m thinking someone must have cancelled for this excursion to come available again!

Ditto here...can only book Jersey Boys right now.

Does anyone have freestyle dailies for the Bliss?  I am trying to tentatively plan when to book shows and specialty dinners.  Unfortunately won’t be able to do that until we’re on the ship at the end of October. Any info you can provide will be greatly appreciated!

We’re at 34 days out and waiting for flight information.  Looks like there are Lots of direct flights from ORD to LAX on the airlines NCL uses, but the return flights I see are extremely late on debarkation day.  Hoping our flights aren’t too inconvenient!!

Hi all.  Getting ready to book the Bliss for a late October cruise.  Considering the free air option.  Does anyone know what airlines are usually assigned from ORD to LAX, and how inconvenient are the flight times?  Do they assign any flights out of Midway airport (looking to avoid that as I am 10 minutes from O’Hare. Also   Looking at a deviation to arrive 2 days earlier. 

Do they assign:

 BASIC economy or regular Economy if assigned to United?  Any info on your experience would be helpful.  Thanks in advance!

No straws at all on the GETAWAY last week.  That was the end of the Pina Coladas.  Should have brought our own.

Bid was for 10/21/2018 Getaway Sailing.  I was in their room.  Even their travel agent said they had never seen such  a low bid accepted.

sorry if this aggravates anyone.  I couldn’t even get an upgrade from a balcony to a spa balcony for $100 each.

Someone on my cruise was upgraded to a haven room for a bid of $200 each from a balcony.  They are first time NCL cruisers and just booked the week before.  Looks like no rhyme or reason to who gets upgrades.

Just got off the Spirit 10 day Rome to Rome. Kept waiting for the laundry special, but it never came.

I believe they also have sales for the dining packages set up in HEADLINERS.

Hi...an additional related question...the excursions need to be booked at the excursion desk to get the silver or gold excursion discount, correct? Not be confused with the $50.00 per stateroom excursion discount per day.They cannot be booked online or via your room to get the discount, because you need to show your key card. Please correct me if I am wrong. We missed out on this discount in our recent Bermuda cruise because we booked the excursions from our room.

Hi, my daughter and son-in-law have 3 children, 5,3 and 15 months. They are considering the concierge one bedroom family suite. This arrangement has a pull out sofa bed and a Pullman sleeper. The two older children need to sleep seperately, so both beds will be in use. Is there room for a pack n play with both beds in use? Where could this be placed? The baby still takes two naps so they would need to be able to have a darkened area for those. The other two (not so much the 5 year old) take naps as well. Any suggestions? Have any of you been in this situation? Any insight you can provide would be helpful. Thank you!Disney drea

Was available each evening in the main dining room as well as BLU on last week's Solstice Cruise. My husband ordered it every night!

We had an 11:15 flight out of FCO back in 2005. We took the Carnival transport, and made it there with time to spare.

However, things are a little different now, and we will probably take a cab much earlier. The time still makes me nervous!
