Imagine: It's hot in your cabin. You have to go down the hall knocking on every door to find the culprits who have their balcony door propped open and depriving your space of the A/C.

:D I'm sorry, but the idea of someone actually believing that keeping a balcony door open will effect other rooms is very humorous (it would be very noisy too). :D

The generators will be running full speed 24/7 if your door is open or not, so don't worry about "wasting" energy. You paid a pretty penny for the cruise, so you enjoy it anyway you want and don't worry about the energy. It's going to be there anyway.
