  1. I've had both experiences for me balcony is best. we had an ocean view first the balcony every other time it's nice been able to walk outside without having to go up to the public areas. Some people don't mind the inside cabins and others prefer balcony everybody has their own preference

  2. People generally wear shirts trousers dresses .I didn't see many in tuxs or evening gowns the people who had tux evening gowns did stand out. .There's nothing wrong with that either if that's the way you choose to dress.NCL is all about choice.

  3. You can book for 10 or more there seems to be a queue before first show, that starts at 730pm then when show is finished about 830pm theres are large queues forming .I suggest going to dining reservations when you board.

  4. I also went Msc because of the price RCL was charging.looked at the ship thought it was lovely and it couldn't be that different .in my opinion there is no comparison. you get what you pay for .yes rcl is gone way to expensive but I would never go back to msc again

  5. I don't think they would hold your Australian passport but you could always check with msc before you travel.they never held my Irish passport they had all my details before we travelled then when we checked in that had a look at the passports and handed them back to us they were in the safe for the rest of the week .the ports we visited were bari katakolon Santorini Athens Corfu and Dubrovnik we started at Venice.

  6. No they don't hold your passports settle your bill by credit card they drop an invoice to your cabin late the night before you disembark you sign one copy and give the other copy to reception there usually a member of staff collecting them so you don't have to queue you could do that before breakfast so then you will be ready to go after breakfast

  7. I was the first group off with a transfer . had to wait for everybody in the group to disembark together.if you had your luggage you could disembark by 830am that's if the ship arrived at 8am. I was off at 9am was due to disembark at 840am was waiting on msc to give the go a head to disembark and I wheeled my luggage off no problem .was pushed for time didn't want my bags to get lost I'm sure they would have been fine . been pushed for time I felt better that I had my own luggage

  8. Hi suuluu

You leave your bag outside your cabin the night before you disembark.you can also carry your own luggage off so you can disembark earlier because your not waiting on your bag to be delivered.the only problem you could have is fog .in theory you should disembark quickly .msc want everybody off the ship as quick as possible. when I embarked in July you could board from 10.30am even though our paper work said we could board at 1pm you couldn't enter your cabin unroll 2pm

  9. Well then msc wont be for you.

Pools crowded, food in buffet always cold , some people don't believe in queuing hand sanitizers more times empty than full and most people don't use them. The good things are nice looking ship cabins kept very clean mdr waiter very nice, helpful , shows very well done. Great destinations that was the fantasia .

  10. I was also on the fantasia the reason we docked in marghera on the 20th of July there was a festival in Venice. The problem I have is we were never told. We received the daily piece of paper in the door depending on the colour tag or what floor you were on was the time you got off the ship. I'm sure the festival in Venice has been organized more than a week .we should have been informed by email before we travelled .There is one flight out of Venice on Sunday Tuesday Thursday and Saturday to Ireland unless you want to travel with Ryanair which would be more stressful than an early flight and does not fly out of Marco polo airport so we have no other choice .I was lucky I booked a transfer with msc so I was off the ship by 9 am but I was thinking to myself on the way to the airport how lucky I was that I booked the transfer .
