Hi, I'm after some advice. We are interested in booking a cruise on Thomson Discovery around the Caribbean for April 2018. Does anyone think the seas will be calm around that time of year in the Caribbean? I appreciate you can't predict what the weather will be like, but can we expect calmer seas rather than rough? Just concerned about feeling poorly, as the Discovery is a slighter smaller ship than we normally sail on.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I'm not saying it's a good idea if they are not allowed in but some cruise lines allow children in certain pools such as p & o as they have special filtration systems on those pools.

Just wondering if babies can use the swimming pools on Thomson ships as I know some cruise lines do not permit non potty trained children in the pools.

I've just looked into booking a 7 night cruise around the Caribbean and it appears there is no availability for any? None!!

I put my details in online for 2 adults and two children and it comes back as no grade? I went through a load of different dated cruises but still nothing. I then searched for a 14 night Caribbean cruise and could book one, I don't understand?!?

Why are P&O advertising 7 night cruises if you can't actually book one?

Any thoughts??

I don't want to go on the oceana, the cruise I am looking at, is on the Britannia on 17th Feb 18 round the Caribbean, we are not fussed about cabin but they say no cabins are left.

I have called P & O direct and they have said no 4 berths left. Also tried agents and then P & O again. All say no cabins.

Our kids are 7 and 1.

Cannot do a dummy booking on official website as it keeps coming back with error code…

I'm just shocked on that size ship that ALL 4 berth cabins have gone!

All they could offer was two separate cabins, but pay full price for child and infant!!

I was wondering if anyone knew if P&O release all there cabins at the same time?

I have tried to book a particular cruise but have been told there are no 4 berth cabins left, this cruise is not until 2018, and was wondering if I should retry booking in the next few months.

Hi, I have been trying to book this cruises for a couple of weeks now and have been told lots of different things on the phone, from its full, there are no seats on the aircraft to there are no cabins for four left. All very different answers. I then decided to try and book one for Feb 18 for 7 nights to the Caribbean and and have been told basically the same on the phone by P & O. I decided yesterday to go to travel agent and was told P & O are having problems with the St Lucia flight for ALL 7 night Caribbean cruises, and maybe try booking 11 months before departure date when all air fares are released.

So not sure if I should keep trying or just give up?!?

If anyone has any luck, keep us posted as I really would love to do this cruise!!

Hi, we are going on our first celebrity cruise in August sailing on the silhouette. We will embarking in venice then sailing round the Greek isles.

I was wondering what does everyone do on their first day on celebrity? What time do you board? Where do you eat, drink? Please share!!! I'm just trying to in visage our first day! Many thanks!!

Hi, Can anyone advise us whether we book hotel with celebrity or book it ourselves for 1 night pre cruise in venice.

Celebrity have quoted £600 for hotel Metropole and transfers (airport to hotel,hotel to port & port to airport) for 1 night for the 2 of us OR do we book it independently and use public transport.

As we have never been to Venice we are a little cautious as to how easy getting around is, and also getting to the port in time the following day.

We would like to stay fairly central but how easy it would be with suitcases, we are unsure.

How much do you think we would spend booking it independently? Would it be worth making the savings? Or do we go for the easier option and let Celebrity sort it all?

Any advice would be great!! (This is our honeymoon too) :D
