I am home now. The flight home was brutal, so I pretty much slept the whole afternoon.

The Jet Smart flight to Buenos Aires was on another old Airbus A320 (this time I checked), but at least we had a window this time. I didn't see any broken seats, but the seats were filthy (crumbs all over.) Thank goodness I had some disinfecting wipes! I'll definitely give them a big thumbs down in the post-cruise survey.

Seabourn offered to take us out to dinner upon arrival in Buenos Aires, but American Airline check-in counter didn't open till 5 pm, so by the time we checked in our luggage, it was too late, so we didn't go.

I'll write a more detailed review at a later date (probably this weekend), but it was a FANTASTIC cruise, and the Venture was a great ship!

    Same “old “ Aircraft:

The airline was Jet Smart. I don't know the aircraft type. My husband thinks it was Airbus A320, but not sure. Whatever it was, it was old, and some of the seats were broken...

The seats were pre-assigned and we didn't get to choose. Economy class only. The plane had two rows of three seats. I don't know if anyone got stuck in the middle seats, but I think most rows had only two people.

And here are our "window" seats. LOL

So if your embarkation is prior or same day, please write to me. I will promptly register you at Seabourn’s website for your OBC.

    Thanks in advance 🙏

Sorry, I don't intend this large font. It is the result of copy and paste. And couldn't erase it.🙏

  5. Any first-time Seabourn cruisers interested in OBC through their REFERRAL PROGRAM?
Please contact me at       Dinah_Moritz (at) web (dot) de
However, I will not be driving until May 14, 2022 and August 21. 2022,

so if your embarkation is before then I would really appreciate it if you get in touch.
Happy sailing again after the pandemic everyone!

  6. Since English is not our mother tongue and SB and the TA always only answered/explained our question with a total credit amount under "Miscellaneous credit" - only a single amount with no breakdown, we open here this thread.

The amount is shown on the new reservation invoice without specifying the calculation separately for clarification.

It took a lot of time to understand their calculation of the 5% FCD-Credit  on the new reservation.

    Their calculation base:

    Cruise price minus taxes (OK)

Less credits for canceled cruises (FCC incl. cash payments). – which  ImO is NOT OK for the calculation of FCD-Credit!

So actually we get quite an amount (for a couple of cruises) less than promised.

And we have no possibility to log in into our accounts to see the customer account and the debits and credits thereon.

For months it shows: MY BOOKINGS - Upcoming Cruises: We are experiencing system issues. Please try again later, or . . . . .

BTW we couldn’t see details of the accounts before, like some other people mentioned.

We would be very grateful if other Seabourn Sailors would share their thoughts and experience on this thread in CC Platform.

  7. Why can't we access our credits online?

It seems like SEABOURN is trying to hide her in hopes that we will forget.

We cannot access our Seabourn account (Rotterdam)!

Where can I see my customer account - debits and credits, etc. as with any other business partner?

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Do Seabourn customers from other countries have access to their accounts?

    Agree with you.

We can't do that with Seabourn (Rotterdam) either.

We were booked on Seabourn Sojourn from Seward to Vancover from July 6 to 17, 2020. As it was cancelled, we requested a refund for the entirely paid fare.

As the journey was booked through Kreuzfahrtberater GmbH in Germany, Seabourn relegates us to them saying not being entitled to give us direct information about the wherabouts of our money. Wheras Kreuzfahrtberater informs that they simply cannot pay our money back before having received it from Seabourn. Ping-Pong at its best! This has now been going on for about 2 months and still there is no money in sight. Whoever of the envolved parties is the culprit, this is certainly not a good way to persuade good customers to book again.

If you have booked with 'Kreuzfahrtberater GmbH', the Rotterdam office is responsible? Do you have access to your own customer account there?

  10. :halo: We are sailing in February 2019 :halo: and have a referral Coupon.

  11. As we come on long flights to departure ports, with limited luggage - and most of our cruises where four weeks, sometimes with post-cruise holiday arrangements - everybody can assume that the launderettes on cruise ships are very important for travelers like we are.

We don’t like/love to spend hours at the launderettes.

But as ‘BasandSyb’ mentioned, we need to spend little time on sea days or the day between two cruise legs and do the laundry.

You can have nice conversations there with other cruise guests.

:)And enjoy a glass champagne or so, I was told.:)

  12. As far as I know the 5% discount is calculated from the fare excluding taxes. And the net amount than is basis for TA discounts.

    In their website

    http://seabourninsider.com/2013/060513/article-3.php

it reads: ‘The 5% Future Cruise Deposit is individual to you and may only be used by you towards your future cruise fare. It applies to your cruise fare only and not to any optional packages.’

Misleading. European Seabourn and other websites don’t show the taxes separate. Ordinary customers ‘cruise fare’ = Taxes included.

  13. We are Uk based, and cruising on Seabourn for the first time in February 2014. I have read on this board about referral coupons, and would appreciate knowing whether these are genuine or not. There has been some correspondence that suggests otherwise.

I would appreciate your advices. Thank you.

Yes, it's true. I did benefit last year as First time Seabourn cruiser. Would be very happy to hear from you. Please send me an email, so that we can discuss everything. ruby.rubino99@gmail.com
