We received the same letter. I went on my ncl and the shows were flip-flopped. We were able to rebook the shows. Now I hear they are being cancelled and replace with something else? Any news?

What is the cost of spa pass on GEM. I heard it's a great deal, but not sure of the price. thx:cool:

How do you go about getting snorkel gear on Great ST Cay? Is it complimentary, first come first serve? When in Nassau, does NCL provide snorkel gear to use at the beaches (not the excursions - I know they provide them as part of the package). Just the public beaches.
I am thinking of bringing my own mask and snorkel and just getting the fins at the beach?
Any suggestions would help. Thanks.

We are sailing on the GEM this Saturday. Want to buy Spa Pass. What are the operating hours of the spa?

When the cruise is over. Does everyone have to put their luggage outside their stateroom the night before? Can you carry your own luggage off the ship the day it docks in NYC?

Do they sell buckets of beer poolside on the Gem. What is the going price and what do you get?

One of our group is paying cash for everything. She is required to open an account and post $700 towards purchases.
If I use a credit card, does the cruise line require a certain amount of credit on the card for me to use it. I only have a $1000 credit line and I am sailing with my wife and adult son. The card will cover all three of us.

I posted earlier about taking liquor in our luggage. We are reluctant to do this and have decided against it. Friends who have cruised before suggested it.
Just wondering what the prices are for alcoholic drinks on NCL GEM. So we know how to budget ourselves. We are not interested in purchasing the package. thanks for your help.

What is the penalty if the cruise line discovers booze in your luggage? Do they just confiscate it, or do they impose a penalty of some kind on you for trying to sneak it on the ship. i.e. rum runner flasks. beer, etc

We took the Hamilton ferry at 6:45pm for an evening walk through the shops. Found out when we arrived in Hamilton that the city closes at 6:30pm. Only restaurants stay open past 6pm. Wasted 2 hours just walking around a deserted city. Return ferry was 9pm. The cruise line should inform guests about the shopping hours of their destinations.
