About time is right!!! Now lets see how well its enforced!!!

Congratulations! I remember years ago being stuck in a rut trying to get to D+ before the conversion years ago, seemed like it took so many cruises to finally get there!
Enjoy your new status!

I tend to agree with the OP on the same old ports over and over.
I also agree with the poster who said the size of the ships and money spent on Labadee, CoCo Cay and Foulmouth, big $$$ to keep those mega ships there.
However....for us its all about the ship, we don't care where it goes, just as long as we are on it!!! :D

Yes, check in and embark on the 5th, think of it as your hotel and come and go as you want and be back on board at designated time on the 6th to depart Honolulu.

The only announcement that came through our stateroom was the ART AUCTIONEER!
I was napping due to a migraine.....boy did he get a piece of my mind later that day...his excuse was he must of hit the wrong button! He was a total jerk about it and I told him off and walked away to another couple who were close by and applauded my voice saying about sometime someone told him off!!! It was the highlight of my cruise! :D:'):halo:

The rule of 200 pounds per person, that would equal four 50 pound airline baggage allowance!!
Its amazing to see the amounts of luggage people have. You'll see extreme to minimal. I wish I could be one of those people who can just cruise (7 days) with just a carry on!
I am an over packer, I've gotten better over the years of cruising, but just hate it when we are on a cruise and I say ...why did I unpack that top or shorts or shoes!

Congrats Radio, I always knew you were of celebrity status!!
Sure hope to cruise with you someday so I can rub elbows with someone famous!!!
-
Yahoooo, another Radio cruise I can tag along with!!!!
Looking forward to all your pictures and posts, have a wonderful cruise!!!!

Looking for feedback on cabin 7548 on Vision of the Seas, we have booked this for Panama Canal sailing Nov 2019.
Any feedback on the category of the 1M cabins would be appreciated.

I quit playing Bingo on RC cause of the cost, and low payouts vs the money paid to play.
As for the numbers to win the jackpot, about 10 yrs ago I did win the jackpot on the 2nd to last day with just 44 numbers called...a lot of people were a bit unhappy because they would only play the last day for the big jackpot.

Only help I can offer is....did you enter all the info, confirmation number, name, sail date, ship?
At least in the old format you had to enter all the info first for it to appear. Good luck, that new website is atrocious!

Love using magnets.
Use them for any "mail" we get for upcoming days, invites, announcements ect.
Use a hook magnet for lanyard, or any other light weight object.
Use a larger hook magnet for hat or visor.
Uses are endless, keeps everything neat and easy access.

I have just about the same in my back, L 3,4,5 and S 1. I never ring going through security either airport or cruise terminals. My DH has a total hip and rings every time, just needs to be hand wand or patted down and we are on our way.
You'll be fine...enjoy your cruise!

This is exactly what we are hoping for! Congratulations to you and your husband on 50 years
TYVM!
If I could offer a couple suggestions.....
We did a black shirt night for pictures, turned out very nice.
My son surprised us with custom T shirts with our name and occasion, it was fun for all of us to wear them on the same day, it made great photo shoots around the ship.
One other thing I did was to have one "date" with each grandchild at their favorite place on the ship, I did mini golf date, an ice cream date and a carousel date. They loved it.

We are excited as it’s a big family trip with my parents celebrating their 50th anniversary so a total of 10 us are going
Congrats to your parents! Its a huge milestone.
We just did that last year July (Allure) for our 50th anniversary taking the family there were 10 of us. The grands loved, loved, loved Labadee and deck 15 sports court. Everyone enjoyed being together every night at dinner talking about their days activities and what plans were on tap for the next day.
OP...you'll love the Allure!!!!

You will need to make your reservations for the shows. Go onto MY CRUISES and you can book the dates and times available for each one...main show in the theatre Mamma MIa is fantastic! Also book the Aqua Theatre, the ice show and other entertainment you may like. Also 10 min before show time, if there are no shows, they will let non booked guests in.
Enjoy the Allure!!

We had the pleasure of cruising twice with him and his lovely wife karen, both are wonderful entertainers, class act and very approachable throughout the ship.
RIP Marty Allen.

Here is the latest story:

This has been all over the news...how cruel can one person be to tell them do flush it down the toilet?

On our last trip on Freedom last year, a gentleman carried his small dog around for the full 2 week trip. There was no indication whatsoever that it was an ESA. I never saw it walk ever. We love the promenade deck on ships and every day Fido and said owner arrived at the relief station. After 'performing' it was immediately picked up into his arms and we followed said owner and dog to the windjammer whereby the owner walked past the purell machine and refused the purell from the staff member. We were speechless. He found a table, got food (yes Fido was at the food counters ) and Fido had his own chair and the owner was feeding the dog from his plate. Gross! I made very specific comments on the cruise survey but.........
Not enough words to describe how gross this man and Fido was......I'm not sure I could of kept my mouth shut!!!! Truely a spoiled Fido and ignorant man!

Good luck putting a stop to these idiots that abuse the system with “support” animals. As long as a Dr is writing a note, there isn’t much you can do about it.

You can get one off the internet! It's totally out of control and ruining it for those who truly need a service animal.
Leave your spoiled pet at home, that's all it is... a spoiled pet with an obnoxious owner!

I am disabled and use a wheelchair most of the time, last aug, I got up to go pee, used the walker and the rails and yet I still fell in the bathroom. Ended up on the floor, stranded, crying, in the dark.(was early morning actually) Husband was out in our shop and there i laid screaming for help. This was Four days before our Alaska cruise, and I ended up in the hospital and it was then that I was set up with an organization to help me get a service dog. My disease is never going away and is only progressing.
It will take months of training for both me and my new pet/support worker. We are hoping by the end of the year I have my dog.
I hate hate that abled bodied healthy people are abusing this system, but it is no surprise people think we are getting special treatment. If **I** can bring my dog then so should they!
If they only lived a week in a disabled persons shoes maybe they would not be so quick to bring these fake animals with them!
have a great day!
Its the fakers who are ruining it for people like you who actually need a service animal, if you had your dog when you fell, he would of been able to get you help by alerting others.
Good luck in receiving your dog and then training. :)

So what do you do if the unthinkable happens? You are outside of the United States without a passport. Not wise. Just my opinion but in this day and age, I wouldn't leave home without it.
Totally agree, you are going out of the country, you need a passport.

.............amen!!!i remember seeing those pee pads only once in a blue moon somewhere along the outdoor promenade. Now, they're on every cruise. This emotional support crap is out of control.
-
If it's one thing I can't tolerate its fake service/emotional animals. There are too many and is out of hand, these people need to stay home with their pet....and that's what it is, a pet, not a service animal.

Why don't Seattle departures stop in Ketchikan?
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
It is a disappointment not stopping in Ketchikan when cruising out of seattle.
Perhaps it something to do with pier/dock space, either way I am disappointed we will miss Ketchikan on our Ovation cruise in May.
