Princess is still advertising this cruise (obviously it may still be cancelled).  In My Personalizer (Manage this booking) the booking has gone.  We have another four cruises booked and they are still showing.

We have a short 4 day cruise booked for June 4.  Full payment date is April 5.  Looking at our upcoming cruises, all details of this cruise have gone completely. Cruise Booking Number search shows nothing.  The cruise is still listed.  Is this just a system glitch.  With the details not showing there are no details for full payment , deposit has been made.

I usually cruise with my husband but have booked a cruise with a friend.  Can we have separate credit cards for purchases

The local bus from the Aquarium to Phuket Town looks like a ute with a canopy over the top. Two bench seats inside the back tray. At the Port you change sides of the road and when you see it you wave - no permanent bus stop. They are approximately every half hour. You pay the driver when you alight. They stop at the bus terminal and then there is a walk of about 10 minutes into town - though there are taxis/tuk tuks available. Make sure you tell them NO gem factories - just town.

Going back to the Port, bus is parked down same bus terminal road, opposite Thai Bank sign - fair way down road -in front of Patong Beach bus. Return buses are a bit hit and miss in the afternoons, so leave plenty of time - like before 3pm - just in case.

Town has plenty of tuk tuks/taxis available.

Thank you ROCruiser for the info/pictures. We are very familiar with the area having stayed at Kantary Bay Resort (near Aquarium) on numerous occasions for up to six weeks at a time. It looks like drivers can pick up in the port. If no luck arranging for our friendly driver we will walk out to the road and catch the local bus to Phuket town - as we have done dozens of time before. Very easy to wave down local bus and pay something like 50bht each to Phuket town and then at the terminal catching the Patong Beach bus (they run every 30mins). We have already done the touristy things and I only want to shop at Robinsons, Expo and Central Festival.

It's a Princess cruise if that makes a difference to whether it is at Patong beach or the Port of Phuket

We are arranging a private pick up for Phuket for the day. Can the driver park and meet us in the port or do we have to exit the port (walking) and meet the driver outside.

We confirmed yesterday about the parking at Queensgate Parking Station. Full instructions are attached to the above link. Level 3 or 4 at $15.40/day and then short walk to Quay. My husband will drop luggage and myself off at the Quay and then walk back himself from car park.

Is the bottled water package available on the Dawn Princess. I logged into Cruise Personalizer but couldn't find the package?

We are sailing in August - will Dawn Princess dock at the port or do some conditions mean it could be off Paton Beach

Where can you find out if BVE is available for ports (Australia). The Dawn Princess is in port at Fremantle on 30th April and we board in Melbourne on 6th May. Or would that spoil the OMGs when we board for our cruise.

Thank you. Didn't notice the dates of the previous 5 comments. We also have booked a mini-suite so good to know at least one outlet is OK for Au voltage/plug.

Is the plug in the bathroom US or Au - for personal hairdryer.

Can you purchase the Unlimited Soda and More Package after a few days - after you have seen what you would be using - free options/purchases or alternatively purchase on first day and then cancel if you aren't using to your full advantage

After reading a lot of threads, Elite and Platinum passengers are mentioned. I presume it is a 'frequent flyer' type category. How many cruises are accrued to reach these levels? Are they different lengths or just number of cruises. Just out of curiosity - obviously - as have just booked our first cruise.

Is this also a problem on the Dawn Princess - Caribe deck. Just booked this week C747
