I am trying to decide between a cruise on my kids spring break in March or one at the end of August before they head back to school.  The itinerary for the August cruise is a double dip at CC, which I prefer to the March cruise, which hits Nassau and CC.  My concern about the August cruise (both leave from Port Canaveral) is hurricanes.  I know that hurricanes were a problem this year.  Want to get peoples thoughts on whether I should chance the August cruise or play it safe with the March cruise.

My family and I are going on cruise in December on the Magic. It will be a 4-night cruise. Is there a set rotation for dining or a rotation that is preferable?

We will be cruising mid-December on the Magic. Is it warm enough to go in the water at Castaway Cay? Also, if we book a cabana, how long do we have to change our mind and get a refund?

I booked transfers from our hotel to the Port of Miami and from the Port back to MIA airport after our cruise in the Magic this upcoming December.

I need to let the transportation company know what time to pick us up to take us to the port and what time to pick us up after the cruise to take us the airport.

We are concierge level and are hotel is about 1.5 miles from the Port and are flight from MIA leaves at 2:30.

Do we want to board the ship as early as possible? If so, what time would that be?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

are the princess gathering and frozen meet and greet on all cruises? also, does anyone know which marvel characters are available to meet on non-marvel themed cruises? have one daughter who loves princesses and another who loves super heroes.

is this restaurant part of the rotational dining or is this something separate?

How does the credit work if you usually use a travel agent and get a credit from the travel agent. Can you transfer the reservation to a travel agent afterwards and get the Disney benefit (10% but OBC) plus whatever the travel agent offers?

The cruise ends on a Sunday.

we are taking our first disney cruise in december and the cruise embarks and disembarks in miami. the cruise arrives back at miami at 7:30. we are planning on booking a flight out of FLL for 12:30. is that enough time to get to the airport? the next flight doesn't leave until 4:30.

the customer service rep at disney said people can start disemarking as early at 7:30. FWIW, we are concierge level. we also have global entry so should be able to get through customs/immigration quickly (hopefully).

Thank you all for the replies! My kids are getting excited the cruise even though it is in December 2018. Glad to hear that there will be GF food available that she will eat, as she is a very picky eater.

My daughter is 6 and has celiac disease. We will be going on our first disney cruise in December 2018 on the Magic.

Does anyone know if they have gluten free ice cream or cookies or gluten free mickey bars?

My wife, daughter and I are traveling on Celebrity on 6/2 to the Baltic Sea and one of the stops in in Helsinki. Celebrity has an excursion for a kayaking trip there. Has anyone ever done this excursion or kayaking in the waters surrounding Helsinki before? Thanks.

I've booked the St. Petersburg 2-day deluxe tour with SPB tours for our Celebrity Baltic cruise departing on June 2nd. I also see that SPB has tours in other Baltic cities. I am particularly interested in people's reviews of the SPB tours in Stockholm, Tallin, Berlin and Rostock/Warnemude. Any reviews of these tours would be most appreciated.

Glad to see people enjoyed the trip to Berlin. My wife and I are also debating whether to take the trip to Berlin as well will be traveling with a 3.5 year old. We have been looking at the SPB tour of Berlin (already booked them in St. Petersburg).

My family will be traveling on a cruise departing from Amsterdam this upcoming June. We are wondering how much time people usually spend in the city. We were either going to arrive in Amsterdam one or two days prior to the cruise.

Also, we are looking for a hotel recommendation that is close to the port and also close to the main sights (if possible).

There are two adults and 3.5 year old in our party.

My family will be doing the Russia/Scandanavia Celebrity cruise next June. We set sail from Amsterdam. We are planning on getting to Amsterdam a day or two early to see some of the city.

We would like to hit up a few museums and do a boat tour. Does anyone have any recommendations for a tour company.

Also looking for a hotel recommendation. We will be traveling with a 3.5 year old so nightlife won't be of much interest to us in choosing what to see or where to stay.

My family sailed this past summer from Venice -> Rome and my daughter was 2.5 at the time and she had a great time. The staff all fawned over her and she loved it.

We are taking her on a cruise to Russia/Scandanavia next summer.

We are set to sail from Amsterdam on June 2. The budget is not really an issue, but our concern is that it would be too cold to spend time on the balcony and it would a waste of money.

We traveled last August to the Adriatic on Celebrity and it was very hot. As I like the heat, the balcony was great that time.

I hope we got a good deal. We got 15% off for my wife and I. My daughter has to pay full price b/c she is not a Captain's Club member due to her age.

My family is scheduled to sail on the june 2014 celebrity ship to Scandinavia and Russia. We are unsure whether a veranda cabin is worth the cost due to the weather in Russia and Scandinavia in June. Anyone who has advice or experience with this itinerary this time of year would be greatly appreciated.
