I was on the 8 day and the FB page for that group counted somewhere around 70 positive tests since we've returned home. For such a small sample size, that's a lot of positive tests.
Our group of 7 was not on that FB page and all tested positive after returning home. The first person to show symptoms was while driving home on Sunday.

Does the picture have a copyright notice on it? If not, a release is not necessary.
Contains bar codes and other data.

I think it is validated during one of your numerous stops/checks at the terminal before boarding.

Does anyone know how to obtain the Royal Caribbean photo release to make a copy of your picture.s purchased onboard The links on their FAQs don't seem to work.
Thanks - Jim

Walkie talkie talkers!!!

When you arrive at Mr. Sanchos, do you just pay the remainder due $45/pp on site or do they bill your credit card.
Wondering if we can just pay cash for the balance when we get there.
Cash or credit card (I believe it was MC and Visa only).

They leave continuously until everyone has been accommodated.

Thanks! Wherever we decide to go, I'll just tell my DH to bring his earplugs.
Milliken's main dining room is fairly quiet and downstairs at FishLips is much quieter than upstairs.
If your husband needs quiet, try Izzy's. Not in the cove, but a relatively short drive from the hotels in Port Canaveral.

Which side of the ship did she dock on for most stops? Port or Starboard?
starboard

Anyone else having issues retrieving their reservation on rccl.com today? Went to go look at possible dining reservations, etc., and am getting the dreaded "We're sorry, we are unable to retrieve your reservation at this time..." message. Not too worried about it, there are always issues with rccl.com, just wondering if it is only me or if it is widespread today.
Not only did I have that problem on Saturday, when I did get in it indicated I had a balance due (paid in full months ago.) Logged in on Sunday and the balance was even higher, so I could not print my set sail pass for our cruise that leaves in 2 weeks.
So, a call to Crown and Anchor and the most pleasant woman there, she tried to contact the "resolution dept" and told me there was a hold time queue of about 15 mins. Makes me think many others were having similar problems.
15-20 minutes later I received an email and all was well, printed out the Set Sail Pass and downloaded the cruise documentation. We are ready to roll!!!
Hope your situation is resolved as quickly as mine.

Only one person to blame if you leave dinner hungry and its not your waiter! We enjoyed the MDR food on Oasis but that was before the new menu rollout.
-
No problems here, check it from the summary page.

I will continue to smoke on my balcony until I get caught, then I will promise to never do it again. :D
Hope you are escorted off at the next port!

I'm not the person doing the review but I have been to El Morro a few times. Much of it is accessable in a wheelchair. There are areas that you wouldn't be able to get into certainly but you can definitely get a good flavor for most of it.
However, be forewarned, it is a looong walk from the street up to the fort!!!

DAY 2
And for the second straight night, we were carried out of the MDR on a stretcher and suffering from full-stomach-itis. We blew off the 10:30 comedy show and went to bed early…again.
NEXT UP: Day 3 - A scorcher in Haiti, more beef on weck and dinner at Chops.
If they needed a stretcher for MDR, they'll need a golf cart for Chops!!!

Thanks!! Honestly, anything I can do to help out! :D Here's a picture of the packing cubes we use. And yes, I'm a planner, but each of us have our own colors, so it keeps it easy to find who's clothes are who's!!
I actually really liked doing my laundry in Rome - made me feel like I was living there, even for just a short time! Sigh...
Did the guys (and gals) also pack formal wear for all the formal nights??? ugh!!

Strange as it may seem, I agree with this. However, the culture of tipping is deep rooted and would still be expected, even if they are on a good living wage.
Agreed, but there would be no expected tip due to Royal Caribbean "guidelines" so it would really be based on the service they provide. BTW, I am a tipper, but even in a land restaurant I base it on level of service.
-
Cabin attendants, waiters and asst waiters have a job to perform. I wish that they were paid for that job (out of cruise cost) and tips were really for exceptional service. The incentive would still be there for them to provide that.
My $.02

... It was an unexpected but very enjoyable part of the tour as there were facts about these that I had never heard before (besides not knowing that breadfruit and ackee existed).

Never watched Mutiny on the Bounty??

Has the Jewel stopped at the Faroe Islands on previous TA crossings??

Overall, what did you think of the new Menu?
With the exception of desserts, A Home Run!!!
-
If this has already been asked I am sorry for asking the question again. We are going on the Freedom of the Seas Sept. 23 and was wondering if the new menu is switched on Thur and Fri due to the second formal night being different between the eastern and western sailings?
Just back from 8/26 sailing. Yes they are switched - Fisherman's Platter (lobster) is on Friday - Formal Night!!

June '05, our first cruise--we didn't know what to really expect, despite having haunted these boards for months. Erminiou (just call me "Jack") from Rumania and his assistant, Roxanne, also from Rumania totally made our dining experience. Maya, the head waiter, was incredibly personable and omnipresent. Jack was concerned that my companion wasn't eating enough and threatened to feed her by hand if she didn't straighten up. I'd sign up again, just on the basis of their treatment of us.

Erminiou was our head waiter on the Mariner last week, all 5 feet of him! Our waiter Mark from the Phillipines was the best we have had!

Really missed the Broadway show on Wonder. The emphasis for shows seems to be on "technology" and LOUD!! I did like Voices though. Couldn't figure out if there was any kind of storyline for the aquashow Intense.
One thing that wasn't mentioned, the rooms seem to have more storage space than the early Oasis class ships and the slightly larger shower seems a lot larger. Add to that you can get in/out of the bathroom if the cabin door is open.
