  1. We live in south carolina so will be driving down the day before. It is just about a 7 hour drive. I lived in Central Florida growing up so I have made the trip too many times to count over the years. Of course for this trip we stay on I-95 and I am used to getting on I-4 at Daytona Beach. It is an easy drive.

Booked on Mardi Gras for 7/31. As of now, still scheduled with online check-in changed to 7/17 (2 weeks prior to cruise) and the health assessment on 7/24.

I am also on the 7/31 Mardi Gras cruise and my cruise planner shows the same thing.  55 days and counting.  Fingers crossed.

  3. I have done the Chef's Table on 3 different ships.  On one smaller ship the price was $75 and on the two larger ships it was $95 plus gratuities on all.

For me it was a wonderful dining experience, not just a meal, and was well worth the cost.  Even though there may be some items on the menu that I am not crazy about, I do try everything.  You are served so much food that by the time dessert comes around you are very very full.  And ready for a nap. 😊

  4. I was on the Horizon last August in Cove balcony 2357.  Absolutely loved it.  It was my first time in a cove and I will definitely stay in one again.  But the other comments are correct in that you don't want to be above the kitchen.
