Sounds like a great trip! Be sure to check out the message boards at http://www.wdwinfo.com com for everything you need to know about Disney. We are vacation club members and go at least twice a year.
If you do come in March, that will be a very busy time for the cruise ships as well as Disney as many of the schools and colleges are on Spring break. Just something to think about.
What ever you decide, I'm sure you will have a great time!

Thanks very much for this. After reading so many poor reviews I was thinking maybe we shouldn't go. But now I think we will!

Cruise care has nothing to do with it. How much do you value boarding the ship on the first day as opposed to 2 or even 3 days later? I fly from the snowy, stormy North and always travel at least the day before.

I agree! I live in Wisconsin and I'm flying in 3 days before just in case a storm system moves in it will give me time to drive if I absolutely have to! Or change my flights which I can do on Southwest without a fee. Fly in a little early and extend your vacation.

There are tons of things to do in Orlando! And without going to a big park there are lots of things to do on Disney property. Downtown Disney is a great idea. You could do Disney Quest there, listen to some of the street entertainment, shop and of course eat dinner. If you like Irish, I highly recommend Raglan Road for dinner, they also have an Irish Caberet show with music and dancing.
You could do one of the Disney waterparks; Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach, or they have two mini golf courses on property also. I've pasted a link to the visit Orlando site that lists lots of other things to do in Orlando. Have fun whatever you do!

RCI asked me if either of us needed a cpap when I booked over the phone and said she would arrange distilled water and the correct hook ups. When the reservation showed up online. It had that designated for my husband. This is our first RCI cruise and I have to say, I've been very happy with how helpful they have been whenever I've called over the phone with questions. We are only a month away from sailing on the Oasis, can't wait!
