when shots were approved for 12+ crowd, my friend couldn't find any facilities that would disburse them to juveniles for a while. Her kid turned 12 in July of this year. Now they may be available in more places, but just 2.5 months ago it was still kind of iffy.

Plus, if they are approved by the end of October, there is no way my kid can get fully vaxxed + 14 days before we cruise on Nov 21. So, while I hope to get a vaccine for my kid, I also hope that RCI doesn't make them mandatory until at least 5 weeks pass. Otherwise, their Thanksgiving holiday cruising will have a ton of cancellations. Considering how much holiday cruises are, that may effect RCI very negatively.

I believe you hey will take that into

consideration and make it mandatory likely 6 to 8 weeks after the approval of the FDA.  Giving parents enough trike to consider their options and still be able to fully vaccinate their child in time for their sailing. So likely sometime in December or likely the January 2022.

Personally I plan to pick up a couple of the BinaxNow rapid tests from Walgreens. I plan to take one when we arrive in Seattle and then a second just as we leave the hotel and head to the pier. Just for my peace of mind.

How does that give you peace of mind.  If positive the procedure would

be the same.  Denied boarding and quarantine.

  3. I think they can have a fully unvaccinated cruise as they can simply say the cruise is completely 100% vaccinated and refusal to show proof will mean denied boarding.  They are not asking you for proof they are letting you make the devious for yourself to show proof or be denied boarding. Simple.  You don’t show proof it is considered breach of contract and not entitled to refund.

amen! brother, but it doesnthurt to check periodically. prices do go down, and occasionally, ncl offers latitudes members insider offers. isaved an additional 15% by checking.

I wish there was a thread that posted when new promos are up especially the lattitude ones as they are never advertised in an overt way.  Last time I only found it by chance. The 15% off extra really does help.

No for me anyway.  I am not willing to risk a COVID infection on a cruise ship and/or being stranded at sea, and pay big bucks to cruise with masks and limit my vacation enjoyment.  That is me.  Others will disagree.  My next cruise is not until a year from now and I am hoping that I can enjoy that one - or I will shift it further out.

i ve one planned for 2021   live in long island ny   love the pic of your wheaten  who is your breeder?

There's also a 15% discount for previous cruisers. So, get your rebate!

Yes!!!  That is the most important.  Be sure to mention it to your agent to ensure it is applied to your booking.  Not all agents know this and it is not automatically applied.

    This!
A U.S. passport is valid to allow you back into the country up and until the day it expires.

The airline didn’t allow you to board because the airline is not allowed to transport a person to a country if they don’t meet that countries guidelines for entry.  They will be fined.  Example if you need a visa to enter another country you must present your visa at check in or you will not be permitted to board.

Available 8:00 am - 10:00 pm daily except on the last night when it closes around 8:00 pm. On the Dawn, the steam rooms and saunas are I. The women’s and men’s locker rooms along with plunge pools. The coed section has a couple of large jacuzzis and stone lingers among with a lap pool that most people just stand in. It is not the big fancy ones on the mega ships.

Theee are also unisex relaxation rooms off to the side

So there is no therapy pool? That allows for the big jets?

Here's a tip/trick - it should work (did - last month on the Gem for us) - upgrade after midnight, ship time as it will be - for billing purposes Day 2 and save the $30.  Just log-in and check the prompt/offered pricing to be sure.

A little disicipline, stay off ship's WiFi for a few hours - between sailway/out to sea (losing land cellular coverage) dinner & being out and about for the evening - then just don't over that 30+bonus 10 minutes.  It will stop & cutoff the internet connection once it's over the allowance.

    Thank you!!
