The other problem is people with the tablets have so many games there are usually multiple winners. I won game 1 which was for $100 and only got $25. The tablet cost me $59.00. No fun anymore. After this being one of my favorite things, I am done.

Bummer! I like playing bingo but don’t want to pay more to play than what I can win. It’s one thing to pay $60 for 10+ games. But 4 games that only pay $100 and probably have to split that...hmmm... probably not. I remember when lots of people would play. I betting that probably not so many now. ☹️

There are four games of BINGO.  Each played on a separate board/face.  I stopped playing because of the tablets.  I thing the cost for paper was $20. for one face for each game, $30. for a strip of three faces for each game.  The tablets were maybe 40 or 50 dollars.  Now I hope some one else will correct me if I am wrong.

What!?! Am I understanding correctly? $20-$50 X 4? If I want to play all 4 games it will cost from $80 to $200?? How much are the payouts?

  3. It’s been a while since I’ve been on a cruise. Before the bingo games were on one square push outs ( folding down the number). I’ve read they now have machines. Do they also have the paper you fold the numbers? Or do you have to have a dauber? Or do they have the cardboard type you slide a window to cover the number?

Based off our observation walking on the Promenade, people will deposit any and everything wherever they happen to be standing at the precise moment they decide they no longer require that service item.

What a shame.  I won't be rude about it, but if I see anyone doing that I will say something. Unfortunately, I think most who do it, do it when nobody can see them. Proving they know it's wrong to do.

I saw that you can order hangers on the ship using the Ocean application if your ship is Ocean Ready.  They are free of charge.

Going on the Grand. It won't start Medallion until March 2020. Just wanted to make sure I could get more from "Stewart" 😉 if more are needed. Sounds like that is the case. Thanks all!

2 months prior to a cruise I had booked through my TA I had a PVP call and send me an email me asking me questions about it at 8pm one night.

    Totally inappropriate.

I called Princess about something after cruise was booked and was told they couldn't talk to me because I had a TA. Hmm...

  7. From what I understand, Princess does not put a private (which a CC roll call meet & greet is) in the Patter. Because your roll call members already know what time and where to meet. Our roll call is having a Meet & Greet and one of our members is going above and beyond by giving reminders to the cabins of those that wanted it.

I have another question about this OBC: is it refundable, balance transferable to the next cruise, or use it or lose it?

We got $300 OBC and my parents got $200, and we don't usually even spend this much, even if I get a $60 internet and a $70 soda package for 1. My parents don't drink soda and don't need internet.

Maybe use it for a spa treatment.

Yes, I booked a gty inside by myself (through a big online cruise agency) on the Coral repositioning this weekend & got a balcony cabin assigned today. I took an educated guess & did the gty because there was one inside room left & about 50 balconies, so I was pretty sure my shot at one was better than average.

    NICE!

You may not lose your casino fare.  I always ask my TA to check fares using the "CASINO" code.  To my surprise, it worked when we booked the newly released Tahiti cruises.  It's worth asking your TA or Princess to use that code when you check to see if a promotion offers a better deal.

I've played in the Casino when I cruised.  But I haven't cruised in over 5 years. To get casino fares do you have to cruise within a specific timeline to receive that fare?

It is in the Cruise Contract that they have the right to charge you the difference if Princess chooses to raise the amount.

However that would be a very poor practice customer-service wise.

What normally happens is what you are seeing now: sneaky increases until final payment date. Which they usually round up high enough that there is often a small credit for overpayment on your stateroom charge.

I doubt there would ever be an adjustment (either up or down) in between final payment and the start of the cruise as the cost of billing would likely be prohibitive--even though technically Princess has the right to demand you make up for their underestimation on the spot.

    Thank you

  12. A couple days ago I wrote several cruises down that I may be interested in, in the future. The prices and the Taxes, Fees & Port Expenses. Now I got online and was looking again and see the (expenses) are higher. Some over $100.  If you book a cruise and it is not paid off and those "expenses"  go up, do you have to pay the extra, or once it's booked your price is locked in?  How often do these expenses increase?

  13. Thank you KruzPrincess.  I got an email about a sale coming up. Thought maybe if I get something as soon as sale begins, maybe I can get a better location on ship.  I like mid-ship.  I don't mind going myself if nobody else can go. But don't mind saving by having a second person either. I wish $$ didn't matter, but unfortunately it does. I like a balcony.  I'd like to start cruising more. If I go solo, no balconies. But if there is a good price I will do ocean view. 😎

  14. Can I book a cruise then add a second person later? Or do I book with my name & 2nd TBD? If I can book with a TBD does a deposit have to be paid for unknown 2nd person? What if there is a 2 for one deposit?  If I book with a TBD 2nd person and don't get a second person, if I had to pay a 2nd person deposit, would I get it back if I end up going solo?
