  1. I know this should be posted on Cozumel's board, but no one seems to have heard of Secrets...cross posting and crossing my fingers as well!

The hubs and I are having a hard time deciding between Mr. Sanchos and Secrets Aura in Cozumel. We are in our mid to late 20's, enjoy a few adult beverages but are not big party animals. We are really looking for an all inclusive, quiet, relaxing day.

It looks like 6 other ships (around 14,000) people will be in port that day, so I am a little concerned about Mr. Sanchos being crowded. We were thinking about a massage for each of us as well.

I haven't seen anyone really talk about Secrets Aura here on CC, which concerns me a little. However, I suppose it could be a hidden gem. It's much smaller than Mr. Sanchos.

If we go with Mr. Sanchos, is it worth the splurge of $200 for a private AI cabana? (this also comes with a massage) Secrets Aura is around the same price I believe, minus the cabana.

We are STUCK. Not sure which way to go. Risk the amenities/no reviews with Aura, or risk Sanchos being over crowded and noisy?

    Thoughts?

  4. We were recently on Silhouette, and when we were in Cozumel we went to Nachi Cocom. It was a fantastic beach day.

I did a photo review with lots of pictures of the beach, food, and facilities at Nachi. You'll have a great time no matter where you go...Cozumel is awesome!

Oh my goodness. Your review was AMAZING!!! And you are hilarious!! Hands down my favorite review I've ever read!! :) Thank you!

  5. Hi!

We are going to Cozumel on the Silhouette next month. We were thinking about a day pass at "HOTEL B", which is a 5 min taxi ride from the port and includes a 30 minute beach side massage.

Has anyone been to this hotel?? Reviews? Any other relaxing/spa resort recommendations in Cozumel?

    Thanks!!:D

  8. Anyone know if cabin 1515 on the X Silhouette is set up with the bed near the balcony or the bathroom?? I prefer the bed by the balcony, so I would love to know if this is a good room or not...I can't seem to find anything on 1515. We leave in less than 7 weeks...so pickin's are slim. :( Thoughts? THANKS!

  9. CABIN SELECTION!

Right now we are in AQ #1605 (Deck 11-Penthouse) on the Celebrity Silhouette.

I like the size of the balcony, but am slightly concerned about noise above? We also love to be on the side that faces the land while in port. I know this changes depending on a few different elements, but any idea which side would have better odds? We are sailing Dec 28th (Western Caribbean) I believe #1605's opposite #1610 is available on the other side of the ship, if we need to change. Would welcome any other cabin # suggestions as well- we love peace and quiet and do not mind a walk to the room! Thoughts?

  10. I am excited to try X for the 1st time. We are fun loving and semi-young couple (LOL-late 20's) but are not huge party animals & are pretty low key and laid back, so we are excited to get a taste of the more posh cruise line! :P

    Enough blabbing....on to CABIN SELECTION!

  11. WOW! What great responses!! Thank you all so much for your suggestions! We decided to book the Silhouette. The more I read about this ship, the more I love it. :) I am excited to try X. We are fun loving and semi-young (LOL) but are not huge party animals & are pretty low key and laid back, so I don't think the older crowd will bother us much. :P

Thanks again for all of your comments! You have been most helpful!

  12. Which would you choose?

We are a couple in our late 20's.

I have read SO MANY good things about Connie, but hers is a shorter cruise (5 day leaving on 12/31)

Silly & Reflection are both 7 days (over NYE)

We like the ports of call for all 3 and the price is about the same....so the major factor for us is the Ship itself.

I should mention we will be doing AQUA CLASS.

I would not mind a shorter cruise on Connie, if she is well worth it. However, if I can get more bang for my buck, then it's worth it to book Silly or Reflection.

Room suggestions for AQ on any of these? We love the aft!

  14. Hey there! We are booked in the Aqua Class Aft Balcony #1133 on the Celebrity Constellation. I was wondering a few things:

    1. how private is the balcony?

    2. Is there are any noise complaints or concerns?

    3. When looking out at the ocean (again, aft) from the balcony, are there any obstructions?

    4. Any other pros/cons or suggestions on a better room? (i.e- larger balcony?)

I thought about booking the afts in the middle, but it looks like there is an overhang?

Thanks so much for your help!

    ps---I LOVEEEEE pictures!

  17. Hey Guys!

We just booked a spa suite (1 of only 4 on board) on the Breeze for next February. Any idea what amenities other than the T pool and relaxation room? Is there additional access to the restaurants that you would normally have to pay for? I can't seem to find that info anywhere. I also would love to see pics or video of a spa suite. I can't decide if its worth the extra $$$ to upgrade to a suite vs. spa balcony.

    Thanks!
