  1. I'm on the April 13 Star out of Trieste and have bids out for all the Suite categories -- all show pending still!  I know that all that I a bidding on are still available to book -- so I am really hoping to cruise in a suite for the first time!  I  have two in the "orange" range and the rest are at the top of the "poor" region.

  2. We have a cruise out of Rome .. haha, Trieste now .. .on April 13th and we can't make reservations either -- and we only do specialty restaurants and have the full 10 days all ready paid for -- so was definitely hoping to get the dinners booked in advance!   I'm hoping that at the 21 day mark and you "check in" that will then open up the reservation part, fingers crossed.

  3. Love your writing style and will be following along.  We don't cruise until May 9th out of Barcelona.

We have 2 cats and 2 dogs and once they see the suitcases .. the four of them start conspiring -- maybe if I throw up -- they won't go ... maybe if I start shedding all my hair --- they won't go.  Never mind that they actually love their sitter who spoils them rotten while we are away!

  4. I checked today for the pricing for my cruise in May 2020  -- prices have dropped and wanted to upgrade to a balcony room from a picture window.  The price difference was less than $200 and was hoping to just pay the difference (I have already paid in full).  I discovered this after doing a "dummy" booking and seeing the price!  When I called they guy swore it would be $960PP and what I was looking at wasn't the "final" cost.  How do you deal with that?  I said I was looking at a final price screen and he told me I was not correct.  Do I try to call back later and get a different person?  I thought Celebrity would let you change the reservation if you paid the difference (but I'm not paying $960 more PP) -- that was more than what it was originally when I booked!

  5. Halifax, Nova Scotia - -- we were there last year in September -- it was wonderful. You can definitely just walk the boardwalk and go to the museum.

We loved the trip -- except the fog horn going off every 3-4 minutes at night -- on our balcony we could literally not see ANYTHING further than a foot out! How those ships navigate and handle that is amazing.

  6. I had my knee replaced when still in my 40's (53 now) -- and now looking at hip replacement -- but I would die without Bio Freeze. It's available in several different places -- got mine at Sam's. The best thing to help with knees is to keep moving.
