You should go to Tripadvisor.com and read the reviews on the Quality Inn in Gretna.
We have changed our reservations to Maison St. Charles after reading the reviews on the Quality Inn, Gretna. It's on the street car line as well so that we can get around with ease for a day before the cruise. Thanks for all of the info.

There are a few liquor stores right there close to the port. I'm sure you can get some there.
Great, thank you very much.

Wondering if there is a place to buy beer at the cruise port at Grand Caymen. We plan on doing a catamaran tour to stingray city and they allow you to bring your favorite beverage on board. I would like to take a small cooler of beer if I can get it before leaving for the tour. They don't have a bar on board the catamaran. Thanks!

The buccaneer stingray catamaran offers stingray city, coral gardens, and barrier reef all for $45.50. They say that they will drop you off at 7- mile beach when the tour is finished rather than back to the cruise port if you wish. I have never used them, but have reservations for our cruise in Sept, 14.
http://Www.grandcaymencruiseexcursions.com give them a look. Hope this helps a little.

Absolutely loved Jacks Shack. A bit if a walk, but well worth every step. Not crowded, and snorkeled under the pier just down from there. The jerked chicken was outstanding, we had a bit of trouble ordering, but that made it fun to us! Try a Turk beer, it's amazing, and don't forget to look for sea glass.

I have been elected to book our cruise for several of our family. I booked adjoining rooms, with 3 individuals in one stateroom, and my wife and I in another. Our three family members need to have separate onboard accounts, is that possible? Thanks.

Thanks a bunch. I will most certainly check that out.

If anyone has any recommendations for reasonable hotels and rates that would be great. Wanting to take in the French Qtr during the day. We will be arriving in September, 2014. Thanks!

I am trying to decide which hotel to choose. Torn between a couple, Quality Inn, Gretna, and Ramada Metairie. Quality offers shuttle to and from ($139), Ramada offers to terminal only ($119). There will be six of us cruising, and I'm thinking the return shuttle could get costly. We are also wanting to take NOLA in for a day since we will be arriving early. Any help is appreciated. We don't need luxury, but would like to make this as painless as possible.

Okay, I'm cruising very shortly. This is my FIRST cruise and love all the tips here. Any more?
Pack a small first aid kit, and a power strip is a must

Yes, they have a Bon Voyage pkg. That includes parking while on cruise.
