The main sightseeing in Costa Maya are Mayan ruins. We used Native Choice Tours and were very happy with them. We did the Chacchoben Extreme Tour which visited the Chacchoben ruins and a resort at the Bacalar Lagoon. They have several tour options.

 

The other main activity in Costa Maya are the beach clubs in Mahahual just a short cab or shuttle ride from the pier. Some are all-inclusive and others are pay-as-you-go. We enjoyed Maya Chan, but others are also highly recommended.

My Family (15yr,2yr, my husband and myself) will visit Costa Maya in March. We would like to do some site seeing and go to the beach . Can anyone recommend tours or the best way to do both on our own?

I will be in Nassau on January 30 via the Enchantment of the Seas. I would like to find a restaurant with live music and great food to celebrate my sisters' birthday. Our ship will be docked until midnight. What is a good restaurant with good food and live music? There will be 35 of us so I will need a location that is big enough. I would also like something within walking distance of the cruise ship dock since there is so many of us.

We booked a 12 hour deal... We just got our room and it's under the lido deck. I'm worried we will have trouble sleeping. We are in room 8193. Has anyone else had issues sleeping under the lido deck?

Hi

My husband and I will be in Costa Maya in March. This is our first time to this port. We would like to rent jet skis ,get a massages and eat some great food on the beach. I did a little research online and found YaYa and Pez Quadro. Has anyone been to either of these resorts? If so how was it? Or is there any other place we can go and get all of the things we are looking for?
