We are sailing 7/21 and just received an email this morning stating that we are arriving at 7 instead of 6.  I'm curious, what time did you end up getting into Ketchikan and how long after you got there were you able to get off the ship.  Our meeting time for our excursion is at 7:20.  Thanks

Can anyone tell me how quickly we will be able to get off the ship in Ketchikan if it docks at 7:00 am?

Our ship arrives at 2:30pm and leaves at 11:00pm and our excursion goes from 2:45 to 8:30pm.  Does anyone know what time the stores usually close?  We would love to get some shopping in before we leave but not sure if anything will be open.  Thanks!

I would love to hear the secrets of the Jewel and any tips for once we get on. The last cruise we took I had received great advice to get on the ship and go directly to lunch to a specific restaurant for their cold soup. That was awesome advice since we didn't have our luggage yet anyway and the soup was amazing.
