Mitsugirly!! Nice to see you! I used to devour your reviews with your lovely family, they were awesome! Sorry if I have missed them the last couple of years. I will make sure to watch for this one.
We have been on Panorama twice in the last 4 months. I just got off the Panorama last Saturday, same ports except La Paz. Last October we went on the same 8 day itinerary including La Paz but we missed Puerto Vallarta due to Hurricane Lydia.
La Paz - not much there. Be sure to book an excursion either through the ship or private. Those who did had a blast, folks like us who just grabbed the free Carnival shuttle ticket downtown (and to the beach) were mostly very disappointed.
Puerto Vallarta - Rhythms of the Night was a blast! Dinner was good, the grounds were beautiful, the show was excellent and the tender to and from was a lot of fun. I hear there is a great old-town shopping district in Puerto Vallarta, 10 minute taxi, that we plan to see next time.
Cabo San Lucas - Whale Watching last Thursday was great, not sure if the whales will be there if when you are there. Last October we walked over to a public beach that you can see from the ship, spent some time shopping in the port shops. Both times we enjoyed lunch at two really good restaurants - Wizzies near the tender drop off and Solomons Landing which was quite a walk but great meals and margaritas.
Mazatlan - this is an up and coming port. We loved it both times, we just visited the big cathedral and and shopped downtown. We bought the same souvenirs at local "flea" market downtown for $2-6 that were $10-20 at the other ports. Pulmonia's are expensive open taxi's, about $150 for a driver for the day. They look like glorified golf carts to me. People seem to love them, they are not for us. There is a market at the port that you visit on your return. Loved it last October, but didn't see anything special this last time. We picked up some beautiful tablecloths in town, too.
The ship is beautiful. We had a family harbor room 2480 and loved it even though we don't have kids. The lounge is convenient to go grab a cup of ice, an iced tea, or a snack. We had a large private corner balcony. We had a spa balcony last October, not worth it on Panorama.

how do you buy them? I'm on the AARP site, they aren't easy to find.

We sail on January 20th - my online check-in day is January 4 so the Platinum Perks have begun!
I was Gold for quite some time but never took advantage of the gold perks - mainly because I didn't take time to study what was available. I am such an over planner I am surprised I neglected this. I think we redeemed two of the free drinks on the last night, one 1.5 liter bottle of water, none of the pins.
When I started cruising it was so luxurious and handed to us, I didn't realize we had to keep track and keep score dang it!
Please let me know what Platinum Perks you suggest, enjoy, and how to request or accept them.

After that I am ready for a break from the airports. Fortunately four of my next five cruises I'm driving to. I will be flying to Miami in April for an ABC on Horizon.
ABC - ? I’ve never heard that term. Google says it means Aruba Bonaire Curaçao?

I love Love LOVE the Bircher Muesli on NCL. Every line has something I love. My next two are on CCL Panorama to finally get to Platinum with them. I would have been there in 2020 but Covid.
I also love Celebrity in Alaska - mainly because of the naturalists and lectures.

Stupid question. Just curious, you mentioned the lady's credit/debit card not working for Emeril's, are you not able to charge those venues to your cabin?
Once on a cruise several years ago my husband’s employer wrote a bunch of bad checks, including a large “bonus” one to us. It bounced while we were at sea, and caused every check we wrote to bounce, including to our credit cards. That cut off purchases with our sign & sail account for a few days until we could get in touch with our banks/cards back home and sort it out.
Not easy to do when you are on a ship. We had to cancel everything we hadn’t pre-paid, and held our breath the rest of the trip when we made a purchase. It sucked, and it was embarrassing. Some of the payments weren’t even due, and the card companies cut us off anyway.

Last thing I remember was when they wheeled me into the operating room. When I woke up it was all over.
Popping into the Tribe to check on Sid. Glad it went well! Now I will wait patiently for one of you to go on a cruise so I can tag along. ♥️

Awesome review so far♥️♥️♥️! Thanks for the reminders on the weather. We will be back on Panorama in Oct., and I’d forgotten about how chilly it gets on that side of the world! 🥶🥶🥶
We'll be on the 10/7 8 day sailing. I sure hope that is the cruise you will be on! Your reviews are a lot of fun ♥️

We booked a day pass through Resorts for a Day at the Rui Palace Pacifico in October. Looks AMAZING but they are closed for renovation through December. Interesting, they are still selling our week.....?? There are two other lovely resorts on their website in PV that aren't getting as much love, so maybe that's the problem?

At one of the bars this morning there was talk about a fire alarm in the theater during one of the concerts last night. And a theater evacuation out by the lifeboats and talk of titanic and whatnot. Which by the way. We should be on or close to that path.
St Greg, You are correct - you are close to where she lies. You posted this photo about 6 hours ago, and the one below is the Titanic's path.

If she has Whataburger spicy ketchup, she's related to Saint Greg.
I thought that was an euphemism?

My last Cove experience was in the Family Harbor area. It is just my husband and I cruising but we LOVED the Family Harbor. There's a mini-Lido buffet, families in their robes and slippers in the morning. Can grab a quick bite any time - loved it.
We have booked other Cove balconies before the pandemic -loved them too. You'll have a great time no matter where you are on board.

I took my sister with me last minute on my birthday cruise when my husband suddenly couldn't go. She hit for a little over $16k in the middle of the night on a penny slot machine. She bet $10 by mistake, and it paid off. She shared her winnings with me ♥️
