We were on this ship 10 days ago. It it GREAT! Steakhouse, aft pool, and the seafood bar made the trip!

We hit the 25 cruise mark on a 4-day cruise, but used the 25% discount on a 7-day cruise!

Getting cut off after 15 drinks when you don't have the Cheers program is 100% not true. Never seen it happen in 42 Carnival cruises. NEVER.

If we are on a ship that has a steakhouse, we eat there every night. The chef's table was really awesome, but one time was enough. The steaks in the steakhouse are certainly better than Outback or Longhorn.

The 4-day on the Liberty out of Galveston is one of the absolute best short cruises! The boat has more amenities than a Fantasy class ship and the crew is fantastic!
-
I would advise against that, honestly. The Lido buffet, from what little I ate from it, would not have been better. A lot of the food in the dining room was great! It just seemed it was never what I ordered. My sister had excellent food for almost all the meals. I hope you absolutely love your first cruise! I'm always jealous of first time cruisers..that first one is extra special :)
Gannk~ Thank you!
The steakhouse on the Liberty is OUTSTANDING! Worth the extra money. We ate in there every night!

My wife and I each received a free cruise letter on the last night of our recent cruise on the Liberty. Played a LOT in the casino. Won pretty big. We will certainly take them up on these two free cruises!
-
This is a GREAT review! Can't wait to hear the end of the story!
-
I did this itinerary in July '15. It was fantastic! However that was on the Liberty, not the Fascination. If you take this cruise you have to be going only for the ports not the ship. The Fascination isn't the greatest ship.

Been on 35+ Carnival cruises. My wife and I spend several grand in the casino each time. Jaroslav is an awesome pit boss. Bunny also rocks. Bogdan has always been awful. There is no formula for getting perks from Carnival. I always spend a lot. Sometimes they give you stuff, mostly they don't.

A 4-day is a great way to start cruising! I would go with the Victory out of Miami. Bigger than the fantasy class ships and Cozumel and key west are vastly superior to the Bahamas.
-
Only the price makes it worth the effort. It does taste like Bud to me, also. I'm not anti-Bud, I just drank so much of it in college that I can't drink it at all now. Red Frog tastes like Budweiser.

We prefer the aft balcony over the regular balcony. We've had two lounge chairs fully extended on the balcony with room to spare. The shade depends on the direction the ship is sailing and the deck you are on.
-
The servers are certainly more attentive to the "non Cheers" people.
-
Been on both. The GLORY is great, but the BREEZE is better.
-
We do most of our drinking in the casino and they give it to us for free. No Cheers for us.
-
The Victory is the clear winner. I've been on both. The Fascination is smaller and the itinerary is weak.
-
Ozzie Guillen was on the Victory with us. He was still the manager of the White Sox at the time. We drank and gambled with him in the casino every night of the cruise! He was super nice.

We do this every time we're in Nassau. 10 minute walk. Really good beach. WAY better than the public beach. They do try to push that Kalik beer, which is a nasty malt-liquor wannabe, but other than that it was a super awesome place in Nassau.
-
As mentioned above, would love to get bonus points for booking a larger cabin and for onboard spending. It's all about money after all, so why not get rewarded more for giving Carnival more?
-
The Sensation is better than the Fascination in every way. The extra port and day are the only things that would make me hesitate. I've been on both shops multiple times. The Fascination is at the bottom of the Fantasy class ships. Of course, everyone's opinion will differ.
-
We like the aft extended balcony cabins. My wife can lay on the lounge chair and tan without all the Lido noise.
-
The Sensation is the fastest disembark in the Carnival fleet. We are platinum, always carry our luggage and pay a car service to be waiting to take us to Orlando. We usually take the 10 am flight back to Atlanta, but there is that awesome Heineken beer stand in the terminal if you want to extend the cruise party!
No more adult only aft pools?
in Carnival Cruise Lines

Best part of these ships is the adult-only pool in the back. 44 Carnival cruises and I think they've finally pushed me overboard.
