  1. We booked GTY Veranda room and finally got our room number. It turned out that we received Aqua Class cabin. I had already done couple of Select Dining reservations to MDR and now wondering what happens with those...

Are they cancelled automatically or do I have to cancel them myself? And if I don't cancel them do we then have the reservation to MDR those nights and we can go there? And if we don't go then will they turn us down at Blu since according to our dining reservation we should be eating somewhere else that night?

Does anyone have any experience or ideas about this?

  2. Hi Miia,

I would love to hear what was the order of the menus in the MDR? We are going to 7 night Med cruise from Barcelona in a few weeks and I'm trying to find out when are our favourite menus serverd so that we can choose other dining options for the nights we do not like the MDR menu option...

(somehow I did not get the quote-button to work for your post, sorry)

  3. I would love to know in which order they serve the different menus in MDR so that I can choose the days that have our favourite menus to dine in MDR and plan to dine in other restaurants for the days that have not so interesting menus?
  4. We did decide on the Lake Bennett tour - thanks to everyone for your help!

We are also sailing in August with the Celebrity Solstice (leaving from Seattle). I have been wondering the same Lake Bennett excursion with Chilkoot but I am worried about the time schedule.

The ship is scheduled to leave at 6 PM and if I have understood right we have to be onboard latest 30 minutes before that. It is Tuesday so according to Chilkoot web page the excursion ends at 4.45 PM.

I am confused with this ship time - shore time thingy. I tried to google but I am not sure about the results is there a time difference or not. It looked like the ship's time could be one hour more than the local time in shore so then it would mean that the tour comes back too late? Is this true or is the ships time always the same than local time when cruising in Alaska?

By the way, how much that "Bennet scenic journey" costs?

    Please advice the newbie :)
