Been checking availability to upgrade our booking on Sun Princess and found that all sailings from October 2016 are off sale. Could just be that a new fares promotion is coming but then it could be something else. Anyone any ideas? I have asked my agent to see if anything is happening that I need to know about.

Does anyone know for certain if any extra work was done whilst she was in Sydney for a couple of weeks? You would think that they would try to do it and so use the time allocated in 2015 for an extra cruise. However, it obviously isn't that easy to obtain things with little or no notice.

We are booked on the Sea Princess to sail from Brisbane to NZ and back in early December. I have read that the ship has been struggling with a loss of propulsion for quite a while. We are in the process of booking our own excursions but obviously don't want to commit ourselves if there are going to be missed ports. I also read that the problems were going to be corrected in Singapore between cruises but it hasn't happened yet. It seems like Princess maybe trying to get the ship to limp through until the refit next year. Does anyone know anything more please?
