Bigfern, did you just book this on your own.or through the cruiseline? Carnival doesn't offer anything from what I can tell through our cruise.

We will be stopping at st Thomas on.our carnival cruise & was thinking.of snorkeling. My friend suggested I take a ferry to st john to trunk bay to snorkel because its so beautiful. Has anyone done this before? I wouldn't even know how to go about booking this.

Thanks for the input. I think I've decided on carnival, 7 day eastern carribean. I think the oasis might be too much for my daughters first cruise.

I am considering cruising with my 7 yr old daughter in October., just the two of us. I have a couple questions. I had decided on carnival but then my travel agent showed me the oasis cruise which sounds amazing. It is double the price & goes to Cozumel & Nassau. Is it worth splurging given her age? Also if we go in October, I will be taking her out of school. Do you feel there will still be enough kids there for her to play with at the kids camps? Any input would be great. Thanks.
