  1. I like the idea many of you mentioned about trying new foods, its a perfect opportunity to try without wasting money if you don't like it.

I love doing trivia, too, and if they have any game shows I always participate. I won the 60 Seconds or Less Show on Carnival once!

One thing I haven't tried yet but got the idea on these boards: mixing ice cream with coffee for a frappucino! Yum!

I love reading a good good book, taking a stroll and of course love to eat and drink. Also love to hit the gym and feel like I am working off the calories!!

  2. Silk flowers are truely amazing, but you can also get them from some florists in your own towns or in some ports on your travels. They are relatively cheap and look great. My sister had silk flowers at her wedding and they are just as good as the real thing and do not look cheap or shabby. Silk flowers are so great as they photograph well and really make it worth while knowing that they do not cost the earth and are much cheaper than ordinary flowers. Of course my mom bought some on ebay too , for a silk flower arranging class and they turned out great. I dont think you can really go wrong with silk flowers. They are perfect in their imperfect way!!:o

  3. We will arrive in Cork in May, 2014 and are seeking a small group tour. After scouring the boards both here and on TripAdvisor, there do not seem to be many options.

Does anyone have some recommendations? Thank you

When my friend visited Cork City last year, she loved Cork City, mainly due to its relaxed nature and of course friendly Irish people . She decided to do many tours in Cork but her favourite was Paddywagon Tours. She had organised a small group tour with them of about 8 people and of course it was a sucess, she told me you can order with the company exactly where you would like to go and then you can visit the places near to Cork. For example, Blarney Castle, or Cobh. She highly recommended their tour and it was a really good way to see the Irish countryside too. My friend really recommended Paddywagon Tours. Her tour was more of a private tour but she said they do main stream tours too to other parts of the country aswell.

Prices were very good value too as they catered for her family's needs as she had a small child and a baby, and child seats were provided by the tour company. She said ,it was a fun experience with a witty tour guide! I think I would try them out if I was going there.

  4. I find before I go on my cruise, I like to eat as much fruit and veg as possible, with lots of h2o , but of course its all about the walking too for me, before the cruise and during, the cruise. It is very hard though not to be tempted when on a cruise, as its so difficult for me, as temptation is everywhere. However, I do agree, eat as much fruit and veg on the cruise where possible as all these natural sugars are just so good for you, while helping you to lose the pounds! :o

  5. Keep up the good work, that is all I can say. I usally fight the sweet tooth, by trying to eat as much fruit as possible. Try making a smoothie with your blender at home and that should stave you off the sweet tooth cravings. I find it really helps. Best of luck with it all.
