Thanks! It's funny - that's what I used to call both of my daughters through their first years, Babyduck - totally unrelated to that silly costume. It was just a coincidence, and I'd never thought about it until reading your post. At first I thought "how the heck can she know about 'Babyduck'"?:p:o
OK, that's enough hijacking for me. Let's get back to the very important work of discussing the merits (or lack thereof) of various soaps, whether or not they are available onboard, and whether one should have known to bring one's own soap on a cruise.:p
Gotta love CC.
I have a Baby Duck too! (Well, he's not a baby anymore--13 going on 23!) My mom called me Baby Duck too so that's why I call my son Baby Duck. :) Love the pic of your Baby Duck--how adorable!!!!

We've had 4 Carnival Tervis Tumblers from our Platinum B2B cruises in 2013. Ours do go in the dishwasher.
I think I read somewhere that the embroidery design on them may not do well in the microwave. I've never tried putting them in the microwave and don't plan on doing so.
I have 3 and use them in the microwave--albeit, I only reheat in the microwave no more than 30 seconds. They aren't the embroidery ones. 2 are the printed ones and the other has a plastic insert between the layers in the tumbler (I got off the Disney Magic last year)
I hadn't heard about not using them in the microwave--great info to know about the embroidered ones! :)

Sweet! Thank you both for the info!

Hi all! We are sailing with family on the Dream on July 6th and some of our itinerary times have changed. There are 4 of us who have booked the Barefoot Catamaran excursion with Carnival in Roatan, which is scheduled from 8:30 am-12:30 pm. However, we now don't arrive in Roatan until 9:00 am. What do they do in this case? Will we receive an email with the adjusted excursion time?
Thanks!

I added FTTF to my shore excursion favorites and checked every day. A couple of weeks after we booked, Carnival opened up some more FTTF spots and I was able to snag one. They release FTTF in small quantities so don't give up! :)

Annie,
I love my Tervis that I got on Disney last spring. I'll be right there with ya on Tervis hunting, sista!

Ok. I am officially more excited about leaving from NOLA! For whatever reason, I had pictured NOLA just like Galveston, where you sail right into the Gulf. Super stoked that we get to sail down the Mississippi!!! Leaving on the Dream in 129 days!!!!!!

Annie,
I'll poke around on Amazon and see if I can find one--they have everything! LOL!!! Don't worry, sista, we'll find little man one before we leave!

I used mine last year on the Disney Magic and didn't have any problems or get any dirty looks! LOL! I am 100% with you! Ever since I quit smoking a couple of yers ago, I can smell smoke a mile away! Love my eCig! :)

Right there with ya! FTTF was sold out when we booked but opened up some for our cruise and we snagged it! Congrats on grabbing it for your cruise!!!
Tip: add FTTF to your excursion favorites and just keep checking!

Extension cord! We were on the Disney Magic last spring and I had to rent one from GS for my CPAP. Sucker cost $20 to rent but I got it back when I returned the cord on the last day. :)

We booked the Dream out of NOLA in July last month and when I went to add FTTF to my cart after paying the deposit, it was sold out. :( I called Carnival and they said that there might be more released at a later date and to keep checking back. I added it to my favorites, just in case. We are traveling with family who are platinum and they were more than ok with hanging in line with us. Well...I went to book my shore excursions this evening and noticed that the "sold out" next to FTTF had been replaced with a shiny green "add to cart"!!!!! Snagged that baby and we are now able to board with our platinum family members!!!! :D
Moral of the story: add it to your favorites in the shore excursions and check every now and then. They just might open more up!!!
