  1. Thanks! It's funny - that's what I used to call both of my daughters through their first years, Babyduck - totally unrelated to that silly costume. It was just a coincidence, and I'd never thought about it until reading your post. At first I thought "how the heck can she know about 'Babyduck'"?:p:o

OK, that's enough hijacking for me. Let's get back to the very important work of discussing the merits (or lack thereof) of various soaps, whether or not they are available onboard, and whether one should have known to bring one's own soap on a cruise.:p

    Gotta love CC.

I have a Baby Duck too! (Well, he's not a baby anymore--13 going on 23!) My mom called me Baby Duck too so that's why I call my son Baby Duck. :) Love the pic of your Baby Duck--how adorable!!!!

  2. We've had 4 Carnival Tervis Tumblers from our Platinum B2B cruises in 2013. Ours do go in the dishwasher.

I think I read somewhere that the embroidery design on them may not do well in the microwave. I've never tried putting them in the microwave and don't plan on doing so.

I have 3 and use them in the microwave--albeit, I only reheat in the microwave no more than 30 seconds. They aren't the embroidery ones. 2 are the printed ones and the other has a plastic insert between the layers in the tumbler (I got off the Disney Magic last year)

I hadn't heard about not using them in the microwave--great info to know about the embroidered ones! :)

  3. Hi all! We are sailing with family on the Dream on July 6th and some of our itinerary times have changed. There are 4 of us who have booked the Barefoot Catamaran excursion with Carnival in Roatan, which is scheduled from 8:30 am-12:30 pm. However, we now don't arrive in Roatan until 9:00 am. What do they do in this case? Will we receive an email with the adjusted excursion time?

    Thanks!

  4. We booked the Dream out of NOLA in July last month and when I went to add FTTF to my cart after paying the deposit, it was sold out. :( I called Carnival and they said that there might be more released at a later date and to keep checking back. I added it to my favorites, just in case. We are traveling with family who are platinum and they were more than ok with hanging in line with us. Well...I went to book my shore excursions this evening and noticed that the "sold out" next to FTTF had been replaced with a shiny green "add to cart"!!!!! Snagged that baby and we are now able to board with our platinum family members!!!! :D

Moral of the story: add it to your favorites in the shore excursions and check every now and then. They just might open more up!!!
