I ask security about that as I first board. They will tell you.
You stop the line to board, as the check you in at the gangway. Why not just look on the back of your cabin door

Why? Our phones are older than this and have no problems. Then again, we don’t use apps for anything. Not everyone wants to pay hundreds of dollars a month for a cell phone. We prefer to spend our money traveling and splurging such as flying first class or Delta One Suites. My cell phone cost me $15 a month for unlimited call, texts and 30gb of data, 15 is not 100s

The front desk said that ocean now fee is correct if you order just the sharps container on the discovery Princess 2.5 weeks ago.
Don't say you weren't warned when standing in line for 30 min to try to remove that fee
Who would stand in line, do it via crew chat.

Have you priced aer lingus, price a return, play around with the return date, find the cheapest date, it doesn't matter as you will be a no show, also book the return without baggage

And if I do have to abandon ship, at least there are a couple bars handy for what might be my last drink.
Apparently once the muster alarm goes off ( 7 short blasts, one long) only the premier package is still active, plus isn't.

So it’s probably a no for the Enchanted then. Ah well. I’ll get myself a decent thermos!
The Enchanted has sailed in Europe

Is this the same as the new room service the introduced with Princess plus

I’ve read that a few times from other members. Curious as to why some requests are granted and others not. Seems to be at the discretion of the cabin steward.
Actually the real reason is if the ship has a season in Europe, especially Southampton based

Good for you! So many others have reported that they were denied a kettle unless in the UK or Australia. Your first two words were really unnecessary, since absolutely many folks did not have your experience.
Well I've absolutely had a kettle every single time I've requested, and that's over 10 times in the Caribbean. Absolutely

Does this mean Princess has actually listened to all the requests

You can ask your cabin steward, but it’s not likely you’ll get one. A few CC members from the UK have asked onboard, but their request was politely declined.
Absolutely incorrect, we always get a kettle when we request it

At your own risk. Sit down at a table and order 4 drinks they will ask for 4 packages. Unless they drink a lot of sodas or coffees just pay as you go
They always use the app

You cannot legally purchase soft drinks on your package and share them with others. Sharing in violation of the rules is the reason Princess puts a log of restrictions on the packages that make it difficult for the rest of us. If Princess catches you sharing drinks from a package with someone else, they have the right to cancel the entire package with no refund. Read the terms and conditions.
It's happening all the time, don't worry about it

Most people don't bother getting a package for underage passengers, they just get them the soft drinks on their package
Not sure what they do, most people you speak to here in the UK remove tips and pay by the envelope system

Lots of assumptions here, but no real answers yet except john1970. We are NOT flying to the US. We are flying from Heathrow to Amsterdam, so considered domestic (and out of Terminal 5, without the extensive security issues of a US flight). Would like to get into Amsterdam as early as possible and the main nonstops are in the 1230 or 1430 timeframe. We've done the Princess transfers for a US flight multiple times and are familiar with how long that takes - looking for folks with experience flying to Europe from Heathrow.
Flying out of SOU means sitting in that airport until 1720 and not getting into Amsterdam city until almost 2100. Same problem flying out of Gatwick (except Easyjet). Was hoping to do Eurostar, but timing just doesn't work for that, either.
John1970, that should work. We can live with separate seats for a 1 1/2 hour flight since you don't get a seat assignment on BA until checkin. Any idea how long it actually takes at Terminal 5 with Brexit? In the US you usually need to be at the airport 2 hours before domestic flights.
You need to buy a map, how is a flight from the UK to The Netherlands a domestic flight

After the restart, the buffets on allnships was no self served, it worked quite well, yoh had one single crew member that's served you throughout the buffet service

Princess has morphed into a cruise line that is nothing like when we started cruising. Every time you turn around there's an additional charge from the moment you book a cruise to the last day you depart the ship.
We're among the cruisers who are shopping around for better value since their loyalty benefits have eroded to practically nil lately.
Interesting, let us know who you come up with as a solution

Does anyone know where the Discovery is sailing from the 28th October to the 18th November 2025, she has a 2 week gap in her itineraries. Tried to see if it was a dry dock.
