We are on the Epic in December. My family (myself, husband, our two boys) and another family of 4 have booked 2 balconies and one inside cabin. The dads are listed in the inside cabin, my question is if the dads buy the UBP will they be able to get drinks for myself and the other mom ( I know their not suppose to but is it possible)? I was told that if the dads purchase the UBP and use a different credit card for their key card than the rest, not everyone in our party has to buy the drink package. Has anyone tried doing this?

Needing some suggestion and advice...we (myself, husband, our 2 boys - 15 & 8, another couple and their 2 kids - 18 & 15) are flying into Ft Lauderdale for a cruise on the Epic out of port of Miami at the end of December. Our flight is an overnight flight and we arrive in Ft Lauderdale at 5:30 am. We are planning on using SAS shuttle service to get to Miami. My question is should we get a hotel room in Ft Lauderdale and shuttle to Miami the morning of the 28th or should we shuttle to Miami as soon as we arrive? I'm not sure what we could do from around 6:00 am till check in time at a hotel in Ft Lauderdale? Hotel rooms seem to be considerable cheaper in Ft Lauderdale compared to Miami. Any suggestions or ideas would be great!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! Not sure if we will stay in Ft Lauderdale the night of the 27th or go to Miami and get a hotel there. Lots of decisions yet to be made!

We used Go shuttles from the airport. Very inexpensive but there were only 2 of us. There may be a better option for a larger group.

 

At the end of the cruise are you going right to the airport? If your flight is late enough I highly suggest the Everglades excursion. The pack your luggage on the bus, a tour guide tells you all about Miami and the area on the way, then you go on the airboats in the Everglades, and then they bring you right to the airport. We loved it but you can only do it with a later flight.

Needing some suggestions on transportation options from Ft Lauderdale airport to Miami cruise port. There are 8 of us in our group and we arrive December 27 at 5:30 am and leave December 28 on the Epic. Any recommendation on shuttles or would taxis be the best option?

When I packed my teens I used lots of bubble wrap but be sure to leave an air hole for them to breathe! :D

Help! We leave in 10 days for 7 day cruise on the NCL Jewel and not sure what my 15 year old son should pack, especially when it comes to dining in the main dining room. Are teens required to wear collared shirts similar to what the men are to wear or is it casual enough for them to wear a nice t-shirt? Hate to pack extra clothes won't be needed. Thanks for any suggestions. :)
