  1. We had this situation when we cruised on the Discovery at the end of April. #1 & #2 in the cabin had Premier, but #3 had no package.  I assumed we could add the package once we got on board.  We could not. They are set up to sell it in sets of two.  Even the Concierge could not make it happen.  I have heard that it is possible before you sail through Princess or your TA as others have mentioned.  If you really want Plus or Premier for the third person in the room I would make sure you got it settled ahead of the cruise just to be safe.

What’s stopping you from standing an hour, two, or more, just opening and closing your cabin door, for multiple entry into the prizes draw?

LOL, we had some young adults (four or five from a family group with multiple cabins) do just that every single sea day on a cruise last year.  Entries are limited to once every 5-10 minutes (forget exactly how many).  They did win some prizes in the big giveaway in the Piazza, and presumably some at the door as well, but it wouldn't be worth it to me to spend 75% of my vacation hanging out in the ship hallway on my phone.

  3. At one time I thought I heard if you tip a crew member in cash at the end of the cruise, the tip is turned in to be included in the tip pool.  If the passenger who gave them the tip paid the CA, the crew then gets the extra tip returned to them on their paycheck. If CA was removed by the person who tipped, the money goes into the tip pool and they lose it.  Am I imagining this?  Or does anyone have any experience with this?

The chef’s table looks interesting.  Are they able to accommodate dietary requirements?  We eat fish but no meat or poultry.  Might not be possible given the set menu approach.

My sister and myself are vegetarian and they did accommodate us, though we were a little underwhelmed overall. Because you eat fish you should have a much more exceptional experience as they can use shrimp, lobster, caviar, etc. to add variety to your courses.   If you're looking to burn some OBC, why not try it?

  5. I have not sailed on the Sky Princess, but the last time we sailed on the Royal the Concierge Lounge always had continental type offerings for breakfast as well as a lovely attendant who would make espresso drinks to order.  The offerings vary throughout the day.  I suspect if you mentioned you loved a particular fruit/pastry/etc, it might magically appear in the following days....
