If you click on the TRAVELING tab it says this "Due to recent changes with federal eligibility criteria, if you don’t meet medical necessity guidelines, payment may be due at the time of your appointment. You may submit your receipt to your insurance to see if you are eligible for reimbursement."

  2. Ok so I just did a mock booking again.  It says $424 when I choose the airport, then on my details it says $849 for passenger #1 and $100 each for transfers.   I'm flying from Cleveland for an Alaskan cruise so I'm not even saying $849 is a bad price, just a little misleading information.  Thank you again to all of you for your help!  Now I just need to decide if I can let go of my control to have NCL book the flights 🙃

  3. I was looking at all options on regular room, not Sail Away.  Drink package raised it 300, dining package 160, airfare 1000.  I didn't look at the details though.  I will check that out.  Thanks for your help!

I've never added the airfare to my cruise, so this whole thing is just making me a little/lot nervous.

  4. Mine was definitely not the exact amount I paid for the cruise.  Even without the spa package and prepaid gratuities, I paid $1052.  My credit is $710 plus the 25%.  I already lost my airfare, I really don't want to lose any more.

I just checked the Peace of Mind link and prepaid gratuities should have been included in my cruise credit which would raise the amount paid to over $1200.  Spa Packages aren't listed on either the cruise credit or automatic refund list.

  5. Our reservations are linked online. It’s when I called that the person told me they’re not linked. I told the person on the phone that they’re linked online but she either didn’t understand or didn’t want to deal with me. I let it go because of the language barrier.

I tried to call crown and anchor but was on hold....too long.....and hung up.

I just don’t understand why it’s so difficult to give them money?

I’m giving up now. Im not spending any more time on this issue. It’s just annoying!!

  6. I booked both myself online.  I can do everything online for both rooms. I have booked excursions and paid everything for both rooms. I just can’t prepay gratuities online.  And they said the rooms aren’t linked so i can’t pay on the phone for my 2nd room.

  7. I booked online and when I log in I can see my room reservation and my son’s reservation. Doesn’t that mean they’re linked? I can pay, book excursions, dining for both rooms with one login.

I just tried to prepay gratuities by calling Royal.  I can’t figure out how to do it online? Which is also crazy IMO.

Anyway, I was told that I can’t prepay his gratuities because I’m not in his room and the reservations aren’t linked. I did question but I didn’t argue since I was speaking to someone that I would have a language barrier with....

does this make sense? I’m trying to give them money and they won’t take it?

  8. My inlaws bought a "service dog" vest on amazon. Their dog is their pet and they abuse the system. It really makes me sick and it's hard to be nice about it. I really hope someone gets a handle on this soon because the truly disabled are the ones that will suffer the most.

  9. I'm sure I'll end up paying the full price, although I can say that this is my first RCCL cruise (8th cruise) and I'm very disappointed with their website and customer service.

I did book through the cruise planner. It showed $15.00 each. When I went to the drop down list it showed Chops Grill, I chose a time, thought I added 4 guests and it would be 1/2 price (which I thought was reasonable for Chops), so I paid it.

Then I realized that the two additional guest weren't on the reservation. Which is when I called, was on hold for 25 minutes and was speaking to someone that didn't speak good English that told me I would receive Onboard credit. I looked at the fine print of FNDN in the cruise planner and although it's wishy washy, there is some information about OBC. I have also emailed Customer Service with no response.

In my opinion, if FNDR is sold out, I shouldn't have been able to book anything through that link. It should have said SOLD OUT. Or remove the link from the cruise, so people can't see it. It's false advertising and I can't believe they get away with it. Oh yeah, let your customers speak to people with a language barrier, and don't respond to their emails. UGH!!!

We are going on July 2nd. At this point I'm letting it go, but as I said, first cruise with RCCL and so far, I'm not impressed. Not going to let 80 bucks ruin my cruise, but I really didn't want to get on the ship with bad feelings.

  10. I booked First Night Done Right on Liberty of the Seas. It claims 1/2 price specialty dining on the first night. It booked the dinner at full price, so I called the 866 number and after 25 minutes on hold, I was told that I will receive onboard credit for 1/2 the price. There was a language barrier with the person I was speaking to so I let it go.....

Can anyone confirm that this is correct? If it's not, I'll cancel the reservation and do the 3 nights specialty.

    Thanks!

  11. This website won't even let you pay for things!! I've sailed NCL for the past 5 cruises and although their website isn't super easy to use, at least you can pay for things.

I'm trying to prepay my services charges. Not available online, you have to call.

I'm actually trying to pay $28.00 for a case of Diet Coke and the website says my paid in full reservation can't be found.

IDK, I think they should at least get it functioning enough to take money that people are willing to pay.

  12. What are the dining options for formal nights if you don't want to go "formal"?

We are used to NCL freestyle cruising so we haven't had formal night for the last 5 cruises. Cruising out of Galveston this summer and NCL isn't an option.

We don't mind not eating in the main dining room those nights, but can we go to specialty dining or is it buffet only on formal nights if you aren't in a suit or cocktail dress?

    Thanks!!

  13. I got my call back already!! YIPPEE!!

My points were out in limbo because when I rebooked all promo codes were wiped out.

My points have already been returned to my credit card, so I'm a happy girl!!

If this has happened to you, call the Bank of America number for redeeming the points for onboard credit. They took care of it quickly!

Good luck! If you are always looking to upgrade your cabin like I do, take the statement credit. If you book the cabin you'll be happy to sail in, the onboard credit should be ok.

Thanks for all of the suggestions!! Happy sailing!!

  14. I called the Bank of America number for redeeming on board credits. They need to look into it and told me I should receive a call back by the end of the week.

IDK, this is a lot of wasted time for $150. I did have a gut feeling that I should take the statement credit, but onboard credit is more fun....unless you don't get it.....

I will post again when/if I hear back.

Until then, take the statement credit!!!!!
