  1. Here is your answer. Vacations to Go is the exclusive agent in North America for Pullmantour cruises. They have a specific group of agents who can steer you through a Pullmantour booking if that is what you wish to do. http://www.*************.com There are Canadians I am certain who book on Pullmantour, either Caribbean, Baltic, or Mediterranean itineraries.

Now, for more specific, if you really want to talk to someone in Spain about Pullmantour, you can go to https://www.pullmantur.es/ and under contact us, you can find the 800 number for Puerto Rico and call them. But, I warn you, they will steer you back to the North America agent as they are not allowed to talk much about their cruises to clients from the Western Hemisphere.

Anyhow, VTG does fine selling it, and you will find plenty of information. If you want to, call VTG and use extension #7252. Good luck. :)

  2. I have been on the Monarch, transatlantic two years ago. Great value! Great medium ship! Obviously, this cruise line is designed for spanish speakers, but no worries, I had a great time. The panorama deck was very relaxing.

I recommend you book your hotel at the Intrrcontinental Miramar Panama. Amazing pool. Leave couple days to enjoy. I paid very little for 5 star room, overlooking water, floor to ceiling windows.

You should book a Pullmantour Panama Canal bustour excursion that finishes in Colon the day you disembark. Pickup will be described to you. Its about 6-7 hrs including lunch.

If you like interior rooms, Monarch has very quiet ones mid-ship in short perpendicular hallways. Dark, quiet, clean, air conditioned, you will sleep very nicely.

I have great memories, early breakfast over the bow every morning with all the "regulars". Simply beautiful! [emoji3]

  3. Hi. I am joining this cruise in Lisbon for the transatlantic to Panama. The deal is too good to pass up. I had a credit on a previous airfare, I used for going Boston to Portugal; and a free flight from Spirit (miles) to return to Boston on Monday 2 am.

I speak some spanish, and english and french. I guess there will be tons of venezuelans and other spanish on board...hope to see some english speakers as well.

I've been on Croisieres de France and it was OK, at least they have the drink I enjoy since they serve French clientele.

I kind of like the cruising experience - and with the repositioning - it seems like time stands still and there is no stress.

    See you all on board!

  4. We are on the Breakaway next month. Is JC a man? woman? Did you like JC?

    Thanks

JC Sanchez is a man...he has a bit of phillipino-spanish accent...first impression not easy to listen to...but within a few days, better. I can tell you he can sing...on the last day he sang at a talent show and has terrific talent. The Breakaway not designed well for entertainment in my opinion...

  5. Is it too much to ask for better GPS and radar technology to eliminate this continual fog delays in Port of Tampa, FL? Seems to me the Port Authority and Coast Guard should resolve problems w/channel navigation in fog with appropriate or increased pilot boats/pilot, buoy based ship guidance, or other technologies (i.e. such as at major airports) so that these disembarkation/embarkation delays are a thing of the past. Fog delays cause huge problems for cruise passengers (flights) and cruise ships (tight turnaround).

NCL Dawn was 3 1/2 hrs. late disembarkation on Feb. 2, 2014. The taxi driver told me the previous day a smaller cruise ship ("Royal") was kept over 10 hours outside of the bay...they were just about to turn around and leave...when "magically" the fog had lifted enough for the Port officials.

I see corruption, incompetence, politics, pilots who prefer to "sleep-in" on a Sunday...am I seeing wrong?
