  1. Just like any buffet or eating desserts out at a restaurant, always have reasonable suspicion of nearly everything. I have a deadly tree nut allergy and I definitely don't take many chances with cross contamination at restaurants and especially cruise ships. Eat all desserts with caution, minus the soft serve ice cream. That's always safe [emoji4]

  2. I was on oasis in February for this first time and LOVeD it. Went ahead and booked another sailing on her for February 2018. Overall awesome experience. I'm loyal to royal but do cruise carnival for certain price points for group cruises. Royals food is better IMO, oasis had amazing shows and great activities. Enjoyed our quiet down time on the ship as well.

  3. Hi All,

This is a two part question for anyone who has any insight. Any information would be appreciated as I haven't been able to find this information elsewhere.

We are embarking on our very first Princess cruise. We are not new to cruising, but new to Princess. We are SO excited! On a 15 day Hawaiian cruise, does anyone know when the formal nights take place? This cruise is over Thanksgiving and we presume one formal night would be for US Thanksgiving celebration.

Also, while in Honolulu we aren't scheduled to depart until 11pm. We are interested in a luau. Any suggestions?

    Thanks a million!

  4. I smoked until I quit a few months ago. I brought back with my husband usually 4 cartons from each cruise. Sometimes they were even double carton specials. The double carton packages on carnival were $66 back in March. I presume the price would be roughly the same.

Thankfully, I quit a few months ago so I'm looking forward to my first smoke free vacation since I was 14. [emoji4][emoji4][emoji4][emoji4]

  5. We are cruising to Hawaii in November on the star. We've never cruised princess before but are seasoned cruisers. Super excited. And Star specific information or princess information for this cruise would be greatly appreciated. Food and activities are of interest to me. Thanks a million.

  6. I am a super fan of the lanyard, personally. This way I know I won't loose it and it's on me at all times. I am a tourist, not a newbie... I simply tuck the lanyard in my shirt at port if necessary. Pretty sure we are all tourists at the ports, isn't that the point of stoping there? :) minus the locals and folks that work at the port, we clearly all just got off one ship or another. :)
