  1. You can get off the ship anywhere from about 6:30am to 9:30am.

Consider doing a one-way car rental. There are several car rental agencies near the port that will pick you up at the terminal for free. You can then return the car at the airport. This is not an exhaustive list, but I know that Avis, Budget, Hertz, and Thrifty are options.

Thank you so much for the information. Hiring a car seems a good option which we will look into. Leeds Rhinos

  2. Can anyone please advise.

We are on Freedom of the Seas 31 August 2014 disembarking at Port Canaveral, and as part of the package we then fly from Orlando MCO to Las Vegas for a few days.

As the flight is not until 6 pm we wondered how to make the most of the day.

Does anyone know what time we disembark?

We will have our suitcases with us which makes sightseeing difficult.

If we get a shuttle we will be at the airport far too soon.

Has anyone any good ideas? Many thanks Leeds Rhinos.

  3. Brilliance of the Seas 6/2012

    Independence of the Seas 6/2013

We will be on the Freedom of the Seas 31 August 2014 and wondered if anyone could advise on our transfer from Port Canaveral to Orlando Airport?

Also roughly at what time do we disembark at Port Canaveral?

My husband and I are on a package which includes a few days in Las Vegas after the Cruise.

Is anyone going on the 6.05 Southwest Airlines flight to Las Vegas? Perhaps we could share a taxi or shuttle.

We are wondering what is the best way to get to the airport, should we send our luggage ahead and stay around Port Canaveral, or get a shuttle to the airport. The problem is we don't need to be at the airport until 3 pm so has anyone any ideas how we can spend our time other than at the airport. Many thanks. Leeds Rhinos
