I'm looking forward to your posts! We were on the Connie a few years ago in Europe and we loved it. Can you tell me what the "mobile bar" is?

Thank you so much for taking us along with you! Your review was great, and the pictures were wonderful!!!

Rick I love your wardrobe! You have a great fashion sense. This latest picture of your Bomb Pop shirt is amazing! May I ask where I can get one of those for someone?

Rick thank you for taking us on your vacation. We are on AOS in 2 weeks. I am so upset I have nothing to look forward to reading every day.

Following Rick!!! We are on AOS 3/31. And do I have a girl for you!!!!

I am getting anxious looking at all the drink menus- it looks like most of the cocktails are over the $12 drink package limit. Not happy about that.

Doing 9 night out of Miami in less than 2 months! Can’t wait- starting to use much of my “thinking” time on this upcoming cruise. I’d love to hear about your time on same cruise or on navigator of the seas. Need to pick excursions too - Tips???? Go!

If you're stopping in Bonaire, check out bonairecruisers.com, They rent golf carts for you to explore the Island at your own pace. Highly rated on Trip Advisor. In Curacao, we've booked a tour with Irie tours, also highly rated and inexpensive. $25 gets you an Island tour in an open air bus, complete with beer, soda, water and a stop at Mambo Beach.

Thank you for your quick responses! Now I have to figure out which specialty dining plan to get. Decisions, decisions.

We will be onboard the AOS for a sea day on Easter Sunday. I was wondering if anyone knew, or if there is a way to find out, if there will be a special menu in the MDR for that day? We are debating doing BOGO and that would be the second night, so I want to make sure we don't miss anything.

I beg to differ from a lot of the posters, but I have been on 7 Disney cruises- most of them 3 nighters. Just go with the flow. I never book anything- there are plenty of things left to do once you get onboard.

Hubby called Disney today to ask about Friday's cruise possibilities. Of course he got the "we'll wait and see", and the " don't worry, the weather doesn't matter because there's plenty to do on the ship." I'm sorry, but I'm not happy with paying that money to stay indoors all day, and Castaway Cay is our favorite thing about Disney cruises. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for something positive to happen. I also have to worry about flying down to Florida. This is the first time we've cruised at this time of year, and it will be the last.

I've just looked at weather.com and the forecast for the Bahamas next weekend when our 3 day Dream cruise is supposed to dock there does not look promising. What do you suppose they will do then? Can a 3 day cruise go anywhere else- Key West, maybe?

We were on that sailing also in a Sky Suite. I totally agree with the comments about the Tuscan Grille. The Filet Mignon was absolutely delicious, and it was a beautiful restaurant. The menu was different than other Tuscan Grille menus I was told. Their homemade pastas still need some work, however. We enjoyed Luminae, and it was quite hectic. Marija, the hostess, told us that this is the most people they have ever had in Luminae in many a cruise, so the service was sometimes frantic, but the servers there were so nice, and very upbeat. We also were invited and attended the "Taste of Film" event they staged at the rooftop movie. This was a test run for what they hope to do in the near future- they have 4 movies that they have paired food with- 7 courses of small bites, along with wine, champagne and beer for an upcharge. They did not charge us, but we were told that they plan on charging from $50- $75 pp for this experience, which IMO is absolutely too much, and I told them so. While the experience was fun, we didn't eat dinner before we went, and wished we would have. There is not enough food served to justify that cost, and not a full bar, either.

Thanks for the great review! We will be on the Summit on March 26th, and also in a Sky Suite, so I can't wait to visit Michael's.

We, too, will be dining in Blu for the first time, and, frankly, are a bit worried we won't like the menu. If Blu is not to our liking, can we go to the MDR?

We took the same Curacao excursion a few years ago and enjoyed it very much. We chose to stay at Mambo Beach for longer than the excursion, and shared a cab back to port with a couple we met on the excursion.
