  1. Doing 9 night out of Miami in less than 2 months! Can’t wait- starting to use much of my “thinking” time on this upcoming cruise. I’d love to hear about your time on same cruise or on navigator of the seas. Need to pick excursions too - Tips???? Go!

If you're stopping in Bonaire, check out bonairecruisers.com, They rent golf carts for you to explore the Island at your own pace. Highly rated on Trip Advisor. In Curacao, we've booked a tour with Irie tours, also highly rated and inexpensive. $25 gets you an Island tour in an open air bus, complete with beer, soda, water and a stop at Mambo Beach.

  2. Hubby called Disney today to ask about Friday's cruise possibilities. Of course he got the "we'll wait and see", and the " don't worry, the weather doesn't matter because there's plenty to do on the ship." I'm sorry, but I'm not happy with paying that money to stay indoors all day, and Castaway Cay is our favorite thing about Disney cruises. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for something positive to happen. I also have to worry about flying down to Florida. This is the first time we've cruised at this time of year, and it will be the last.

  3. I've just looked at weather.com and the forecast for the Bahamas next weekend when our 3 day Dream cruise is supposed to dock there does not look promising. What do you suppose they will do then? Can a 3 day cruise go anywhere else- Key West, maybe?

  4. We were on that sailing also in a Sky Suite. I totally agree with the comments about the Tuscan Grille. The Filet Mignon was absolutely delicious, and it was a beautiful restaurant. The menu was different than other Tuscan Grille menus I was told. Their homemade pastas still need some work, however. We enjoyed Luminae, and it was quite hectic. Marija, the hostess, told us that this is the most people they have ever had in Luminae in many a cruise, so the service was sometimes frantic, but the servers there were so nice, and very upbeat. We also were invited and attended the "Taste of Film" event they staged at the rooftop movie. This was a test run for what they hope to do in the near future- they have 4 movies that they have paired food with- 7 courses of small bites, along with wine, champagne and beer for an upcharge. They did not charge us, but we were told that they plan on charging from $50- $75 pp for this experience, which IMO is absolutely too much, and I told them so. While the experience was fun, we didn't eat dinner before we went, and wished we would have. There is not enough food served to justify that cost, and not a full bar, either.
