  1. We are booked on a 11 day Norway cruise in May and my wife will be unable to go on the cruise. It's fully paid for and non-refundable. Would I be better off calling Holland and try to re-book as a solo or just show up with her as a no show.

  2. Thank you for the good wishes traveberlin. This is my second time with Covid, first time in July after my 18th cruise since August 2021. Just feels like a bad cold(thankfully). I don't have the insurance from MSC but according to their website I should be able to cancel and get refunded. I'm sure I'll feel ok by the 30th but I want to do the right thing and not chance spreading to other people.

    Hello,

What is the protocol should one of your guests test positive for Covid before setting sail. Considering this is an oversea sailing.

    Thanks

I'm dealing with this issue now as I tested positive yesterday for my 12/30 cruise. I called customer service yesterday afternoon and was told to email MSC with my information and proof of positive test. Be sure to use a proctored test or get tested somewhere where you can have proof of the test. I'm still waiting for a response from MSC.

  4. I have 10 booked with 210 days on a ship in the next 17 months. The last one on my schedule for now is 111 day world cruise on Island Princess. My first one up is on Horizon solo on 8/7, then 7 days on Mardi Gras in September. Next after that is 29 days on 2 different lines solo for October.

  5. My wife and I just got off the Star today. They announced about 3 days into the 7 day cruise about the norovirus and put into place safety and cleaning measures quickly. Nothing on the tables in dining rooms,no self service in the buffet and constant cleaning everywhere! At one point the captain announced 14 cases quarantined which dropped to 4 cases by day six! As others have said wash your hands constantly and avoid touching everything! That’s what we did plus we avoided the buffet once it was announced! Happy to say we are off the ship and the crew did a fantastic job cleaning and keeping us safe! The captain did a great job keeping everyone informed and reminded everyone daily about proper hygiene!

  6. Go to Carnival's website and e-mail the customer service dept. to request the pins you are missing. Give them your past guest # and ship info(dates if you have them). I did this with 2 past cruises (sensation 2002, valor 2004) and they sent me the pins within a couple of months.

    Good luck
