    I did the adriatic explorer 3 weeks ago executive suite 2001 premier service included but im still trying to work out what it was ! I checked in at the port with everyone else no srperate line ,it was still pretty quick i had acsess too the premier lounge onboard went in walked straight out ! What a waste of space onboard ,infact the only benefit of premier service i found useful was the pressing of 3 garments pp but must be doine in the first 48 hours.premier service does not include any airport perks whatsoever ,good luck with corfu airport lol 20 mins before take off time we were still in a long que to go through passport control and boarding hold your nerve we made it and took off pretty much on time these are ques you need to forget your manners in its a free for all ! On the plus side the itinery is wonderful highlites kotor dubrovnik and koper ,if your able do the ships bicycle tour in koper youll love it .

    Beer or should i say lager wise i found myself leaning toward the draught heineken which was on the premium package it was very quaffable and helpem me through many a difficult evening in the casino ! Im a CAMRA member and avid real ale drinker so it was against the grain a bot to spend the week as a lager boy [emoji16] however i managed to survive .

    It entitles you to 1.5 liters of bottled water pp per day in your cabin usually all delivered first morning .but not small bottles of water you pick up as you get off the ship each day or freshly squeezed orange juice ! Unlike many other cruise lines.in the pool bars ,theatre and eateries i felt i was being a nuisance by ordering from the premium choice and in a few cases was told what i wanted was not available ,however in the atrium bar .bar 11 and the live room bar premium came into its own ! Imho i wouldnt bother unless your a really fussy drinker ,just pay the £2.50 supplement each time you want a drink from that menu

    One very strange thing i found on marella/tui/thompson was totally opposite to every other cruise line ive been on celebrity/rci/p&o/ cunard .marella charge for the cakes in the coffee lounge

    That’s a good idea and it would make it feel like the Premier Service was actually worth something. At the moment it all feels a bit flat.
    Suite concierge lounge is just a cabin size area woth complimentary tea coffee and cookies hardly a perk. Ps beware even if you upgrade your drinks package fresh orange juice and bottled water are still chargable ok yes you get 1.5 lts pp per day in your cabin but its not included outside .another strange thing is the cakes in the coffee lounge are chargeable

    Die Hard RCCL Cruisers...AKA Loyal Royals.

    Currently, we have only sailed Royal. We will hit diamond in December, and will branch out after that. There are some Celebrity cruises that interest us. Not opposed to others depending on cost/ports.
    We were die hard celebrity 8 cruises .having tried cunard p and o and royal plus a few more independant smaller cruiselines ! Itinery is our driving point first and formost though celebritys standards have slipped of late so we are more open to experiment now !next adventure is on thompson.marella D2 followrd by viking .

    I think consumer law in the UK says that the deal is struck when you pay the deposit so the retailer has no contractual obligation to subsequently reduce the price.
    I do agree with all your coments above but 2 points do rile me somewhat .A/ the fact i was told the deal i was getting was a one off special deal for me personally. It clearly wasnt!. B/ as far as i am told if one is unhappy with a product/deal one has ordered in the USA the full deposit is refunded if you cancel giving you the option to make a choice. Anyway ive had my little gripe and feel all the better for it haha ! Im now going to move on and have a brilliant cruise and with luck clean out the casino [emoji1]

    Booked a 7 night cruise with 3 nights post cruise hotel stay back in september 2017 and was given what i was told was a very good extra discount on the total price.we are now in january 2018 and same cruise ,hotel flights etc etc is over £220 cheaper on the TUI website with no (supposedly SPECIAL deal given) i phoned customer services and got a total lack of interest from them ,as far as i am aware in the usa if this happens there is usually some olive branch handed out in the way of OBC or a refund why in the UK is it differant !

    So suppose you have, or meet, some friends on the ship and you are sitting around one night and you decide to by that friend(s) a drink?
    By all means buy that friend a drink but make the waiter/bartender aware and ask them to charge it and do not use your drinks package.in my opinion one reason drinks packages have become popular withe the cruise companys is they cut down on papework and labour therefore cutting costs .there is obviously profit in the prices of the packages.begs the question why the drinks prices were so inflated in the first place.
