We are travelling for the first time on Cunard in February next year. We have just been given the cabin 4:149. I always worry about noisy cabins, and as this one is above the promenade deck and beside the lifts, I'm thinking of asking for it to be changed.Does anyone have any information on this cabin, or one nearby?

Thank you Dr Dawggy! Great information. This gives me somewhere to start. Much appreciated!

Does anyone have any good recommendations for a mid priced Hotel close to the tourist centre of Buenos Aires?

Thanks for your comments. We have almost talked ourselves into it now :)

We are considering doing this cruise in reverse in November. So I would love to hear your thoughts on it.

We have come across a good deal on MSC Magnifica, leaving Venice November 29, arriving in Santos December 20. It is a great itinerary for us, but we have only cruised with Princess and HAL before, so we're not sure whether MSC will suit us. We wonder if this would be a popular cruise for families? We're not too keen on having lots and lots of kids around :o) Any information is welcome.

We have a Panama Cruise booked with Princess for April 2016. Looking for something to do before the cruise and I am thinking of booking an Oasis of the Seas 7 night cruise which arrives in Fort Lauderdale the same day the Island Princess leaves.
Not a very experienced cruiser, so I'm worried about the timing. Should we be safe?

Loving your posts. We will be in the Baltic on the Royal in August, so we are very keen to hear about all your experiences.

I was on Dawn Princess in March this year.
The buffet: no complaints; food was good and plentiful, lots of variety, and service excellent.
The library: seemed large enough; was never crowded when I passed by.
The pizza: excellent!
The ice cream: Tasted like ice cream.
Port lectures: Yes, and replayed on TV.
The food: We ate in the dining room almost every night. Could not fault the food or the service.
Have a great trip.

I also thank you for all the information you have provided for our cruise on the Royal in August. Your comments have been extremely helpful for our planning!

Great news about keeping your room. What a relief not to have to pack/unpack!

Sounds like you are having a fabulous time. Looking forward to hearing more!

Thanks for doing this live review! We are booked on the Royal for the August Baltic and TransAtlantic, so I will follow your posts with interest.

That is very possible!

I was also on this cruise. Luckily my friends and I managed to dodge the bug. We all saw people walking into the buffet without using the disinfectant and giving the servers a hard time. I have a lot of respect for the way the staff managed difficult people and even though it often fell on deaf ears, their insistence that people do the right thing. I guess some people are just ignorant. Apart from the illness on board, we had the best time and loved everything about our cruise. BTW James was also our waiter of choice in the Wheelhouse Bar. So good at his job!

Has anyone ever stayed on the Riviera Deck on Dawn Princess? Specifically Rooms 350 and 351. We have been "upgraded" to these rooms from Aloha Deck without any warning and are worried about how noisy they might be.
Cabin choice on the Queen Vic?

Thanks for your input. Looks like no need to change cabins now. Happy travels!
