It seems absolutely mind boggling that WS can change everything about a cruise including all the ports and the country of departure and not offer refunds. Yes, I realize natural disasters are not their fault but at the same time they sold a product with a certain description that they won't be able to deliver on.

Yes, it IS mind-boggling. But it happened to us. The last email I got from them stated that we should be happy with ANY Caribbean itinerary.

We were booked on the Wind Surf November 25 sailing out of St Maarten. The entire itinerary has shifted to the Jewels of the Caribbean itinerary. First they had it going out of Barbados but going to Dominica, Guadeloupe, St Kitts and Montserrat. Hurricane Marie has wrecked those islands. So now it appears that the only island that will still be on the itinerary is St Lucia. Windstar has been real STINKERS about all of this, implying to us that ANY Caribbean itinerary should satisfy, and refusing to do a full refund, even though they can no longer offer anything even CLOSE to the trip we booked. Been an exclusive customer of theirs since 1993. Won't sail with them again. American Airlines gave us a FULL refund, even of the port fees, and replaced all of the miles we were flying on, back into our account.

NO, no extra charge.

There are NO irons in the cabins, nor will they bring you one. That's one thing I didn't like. Pressing fee is about $1.50 I think I was told.

I believe it's usually at 9am on all the days you're anchored, weather permitting. Some days you sail at 1 or 2, so obviously it's then limited to the morning, but is open all day on the days you're anchored all day.

It is NOT dressy, although I brought a couple of tops with some shine to them for when I felt like it. Polo shirts and slacks for guys in the evenings, sundresses or slacks with tops for women. Daytime, sundresses, shorts, over bathing suits, shorts and tees or polos for men. NO blue jeans or tee shirts in the restaurants in the evenings. We just took our 6th cruise with Windstar.....would NEVER cruise any other way.

Due to weather conditions, our shore excursion to Anegada was cancelled on the Wind Surf trip of Feb 15. Has anyone gone on it, because we'd really love to know what we missed! Thanks much!
