  1. "Carnival can provide our guests with meals suited to the following special dietary needs: vegetarian, low-cholesterol, low-fat, low-carbohydrates, low-sugar, and gluten free. Our chefs will make every effort to fulfill your requests, and will gladly prepare freshly-made options that meet your dietary needs. Once on board, we ask you speak with the headwaiter or dining room host in advance, so they can assist in planning your daily meals in the dining room. This will allow us the necessary time to prepare foods, as requested, in a timely manner.

Gluten-free pizza dough, pasta, bread for deli sandwiches, and hamburgers buns, as well as cake are available upon request. Plus, our frozen desserts and yogurt are gluten-free. All items are freshly prepared and may take a little longer than regular menu items. Gluten-free beer, Estrella Daura, is available for your enjoyment."

    "Food Allergies:

We ask that you please inform our dining team of any food allergies and special preparation you may require to accommodate your allergy. Please discuss this the first evening of your cruise. Although there are a number of options at our various restaurants, special dietary and food requests can be accommodated in our main dining rooms only.

    Other Dietary Needs:

Although we do not have dietitians on board, we can offer assistance with simple requests such as the method of preparation of menu items. Diet requirements need to be arranged with the head waiter on the first night of the cruise. If dining in the Lido Restaurant, the guest should discuss requirements with senior dining staff."

Hope you have a great cruise. I agree with the others that microwaves are not available.

    Thank you.

  2. That's because "organic" is not a dietary restriction, it is simply a preference.

Yes, “organic “ is just a preference . I’m sure he’ll find things to eat. They were just looking for a simple strategy. This is a family reunion cruise. They probably would not have done a cruise with him at this age if it weren’t for this special event. Thanks to all for your thoughts on this.

  3. we’re traveling with a two year old that is gluten and dairy free. He eats organic, dairy and gluten free soup every day. It comes in a carton. Will we be able to get access to a microwave to heat the soup? His diet is very limited.

Are there any gluten free options on board?

  4. does anyone know if the really cheap , dry erase boards from the dollar store , are strong enough to stay up on the outside of the cabin door? I have 7 cabins to buy for. I’d like our group to be able to let each other know where they are going, or if someone is napping ( do not disturb).

  5. Any other ideas for fun things for the adults gift bags? I’ve got the kids covered. So far my grown ups are getting: chocolates, night lights, assorted zip locks, hydrogen peroxide wipes. Adults ages are young 30s and 55+( young seniors). I need something fun for them too.

  6. If you're flying in the day of the cruise, instead of taking a shuttle bus, take a taxi or Uber from the airport and ask the driver if he could stop at a store along the way so you could purchase your sodas prior to arriving at the port. It's been a few years since we've flown into MCO, but if I recall correctly, there is a convenience store not far from the airport that you''ll pass by on the way to Port Canaveral.

We’ve had a cab stop to pick up wine before on the way to the ship. No problem

  7. I’ve read people have brought inflatable kid pools for their kids still in diapers to use on the ship , they not allowed in the pools on the cruise Ship understandably for sanitary reasons. This was my plan. But I just read that they are a prohibited item. Is carnival relaxed with this rule? Does anyone have any alternative suggestions?

    Grandkids are two & three

  8. We tried MTD last year, because we didn't want to commit to a certain time. We usually do the the late seating. The first night we had a table for two. We were surprised we weren't seated with others(which we prefer). Next night we ask to be at a larger table . We always meet people with great stories from all over the world. We also have meet some fun couples while waiting for our table , as we never make reservations . One time we were chatting with a couple and their niece . It turned out that they were all from England . The niece was working on the ship and the couple was touring the U.S. , taking the cruise to visit their niece . They invited us to join them for dinner when they were called for their table, perfect. As it turned out, she was the lead in the musical on the ship! She had to leave early to get ready for the show and I think she glad her aunt and uncle were not to be left alone. We had a great time. We were actually seeing the show that night, her English acsent was replaced with a Chicago street acsent for the show. It was weirdly amazing after listening to her speaking in a awesome English acsent at dinner😊 We had a blast with her aunt and uncle for the remainder of dinner before the show,as it turned out we were all in our early 50's.

We also met other couples on other nights while waiting a few minutes(sometime the same couples). Lots of fun!

  9. We were on your cruise also ! The weather was great huh ? We took a chance and did an 11 am flight. We carried luggage off at 8 am.

Loved the cruise. I am not a complainer but that bed was hard ! LOL Hub did not mind it .

We were in an aft room. Long walk but was worth it. Room 8670.

We did MTD 3 nights. Don't like how they pressure you to make reservations. What's the purpose if you can't go when you want to ? LOL

Oh yeah we did the ultimate drink package. Loved the convenience.

We have that cabin on deck 9 reserved. Could you look down at the water? Was the noise level Ok. And one last ?, do you get any breeze in the back on the balcony, we are concerned it might be to still and hot. Thanks for sharing
