Yes! 🙌 We went on NCL in June - and my son was 4 years old and could not participate. My daughter is 7 years old- and they had a cap of 40 kids for ages 5-12. It was chaos- we would line up 20 minutes early only to be turned away.
Do you know if they got rid of their cap as well? Our next cruise is in Dec of this year!
Thank you for this PSA!

He complained and got a discount off the cabin. Carnival said it was due to backflow from excess water. It did not rain during our trip.

We just came back from the Sensation. I remember seeing the Alchemy Bar up and running as I left the late night comedy shows. Guy's Burgers was good but the line was usually long. Blue Iguana has 2 lines, one for tacos and one for burritos.
Our friend had a Junior Suite U87 that had a lot of issues with flooding on their balcony and cabin. He mentioned to me the Suites next to him also had the same if not worst issues.

If CAS comps you a cruise, are you still responsible for the taxes and port fees or would those charges be covered?

Thanks for the response. Looks like its cheaper and easier if i took a taxi to blue kay.

Hello- As I'm reading these threads of what to do - a lot of people mentioned the tram/open air bus option. How does it work to? Does it also take you back to your ship? Also if I were to take it -- which stops take you to the beach. I think I read that Blue Kay is the first stop. Any other stops for beach?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the information everyone! Unfortunately, I don't think NCL even offers a beach day shore excursion.
I knew the free shuttle was too good to be true. :(
Does anyone know if I have to make a reservation for Fosters or Bananarama or will those vendors be around the pier? I don't like to commit to anything just yet.
Thanks in advance!

Hello!
We are not trying to spend a lot at this port and thought it would be a good opportunity for a beach day. But even taxis seems to cost 20 pp.
I found some old posts where people mentioned there was a free shuttle at the port going to Roatan Pirates Bay (10$ cover charge pp). Anyone know if they are still offering the free shuttles there?
Thanks!

Full props to you, it was a production taking our infants an hour and a half away to see Gramma and Grampa, I can't imagine the production that would be involved for a cruise. (And as stated no service charges for your wee-one.)
It definitely will be a journey. We're in Northern Virginia and decided to be more adventurous and take the long drive to Tampa. Will let you know how that goes. Our cruise leaves in April.
Thanks everyone for the quick response.

My DW and I will be bringing our newborn (will be 8 months at time of boarding) to our 3rd NCL cruise. I am curious if I will be charged for daily gratuities for the newborn?
Any tips/tricks for our newborn's first cruise?
Excited and can't wait!

If I'm booking with CAS and have another party with me that is not booked on CAS (in a separate cabin) will they be able to line up with me?

(precovid experience only) We have only experienced the turtle program- we never see the inside of the kids area so i don't know for certain how many kids are there with how many people watching the kids. But it seems adequate as there's always 2 in the front desk area and more employees running around in the back. You're given a buzzer and it'll buzz if you are needed. There's a front area where you check-in your kids and check out your kids. Only the parents and names on the list can check them out and they also need to have the passcode you came up with.
