  1. I saw a post with lots of folks up in arms over the $14 lobster roll. But has anyone posted or seen a photo of what you get for the $14?

anyone on a edge class ship that can swing by Eden cafe and share?

    thanks!

  2. I'm trying to accomplish having dinner with a few rooms that are traveling together but not family.

Each room has their own OBC.

When I go to make a reservation online, the system asks if I want to link up to 8 guests (provide reservation and exact birthday for each guest).

    My question are

    - If I link them will I be paying for them out of my OBC?

    - Is there a downside to each room booking independently for the same time and either letting the ship/Eden know a day or two before our reservation?

  3. The gardens are lit at night and quite nice to view.

If you opted to have dinner on board, I would go and check out Government St, the Empress Hotel, the Legislative building. There are also a lot of really good restaurants if you want something different than the ship offers. There's a lot to do in Victoria.

No, I did not have to pay for the king crab.  I was surprised how few people took advantage of the seafood night in the Oceanview.  You were able to order what type of fish/seafood you wanted  (choices of filets were in front) and the cook grilled it for you.  The crab was in a big kettle.  That night was also cupcake night with many varieties of cupcakes available.

was this the same day as formal night? (lobster in the MDR?)

We did the Walking and Food Tour.  I noticed a few additional excursions added to the website the closer to sail date.  Im guessing that had to do with covid and what was available to be scheduled.  We enjoyed the tour and had a great meal.

Can you tell me how the tour was? Group size? Worth doing?

Is this the same one? "Old San Juan Food and Walking Tour"

We did B2B Alaska cruises on the Solstice last month.  On the first leg we  realized that there was a special seafood lunch (not described as a pop up crab shack) for a fee in one of the specialty restaurants but realized it too late to make reservations.  I spoke with one of the Retreat Concierges to ask if it would be offered on the second leg.  She checked with the Food and Beverage folks and was told that the special seafood lunch was cancelled on the June 17th leg as they could not obtain the additional  seafood.  Due to the lack of the seafood it would not be offered on the June 24th leg either.

Hopefully someone on the Millennium can provide more information.

Thanks, I’ll follow up on board to see they are offering it on my sailing. This sounds promising. Hopefully the Eclipse has something similar.

  7. I did a search and didn’t get any relevant hits. But I’m sure I’m not the first to ask this question.

I like many, lift and shifted my booking twice over Covid. When I originally booked, I booked the top package (premium drinks, wifi, tips, OBC). Over the course of Covid it appears Celebrity introduced a second tier of internet?

Others who lifted and shifted booking from 2019 did you get high speed or the basic wifi?

Normally I would ping my TA, but they were let go, as was their replacement, so now I’m just an anonymous record in a computer at a TA that is too busy to help people.

Here's mine, if it helps. I am the only one who drinks soda and "good" coffee, so only one classic non-alcoholic drinks package needed. We would share one internet package if we end up needing it. We are both Elite, so there are some savings there.

Thanks! That's much simpler that I was starting to make mine.

Gives me food for thought about not over complicating it.

  9. Years ago there used to be a worksheet were you could drop in the cruise only rate and the various packages and it would show you the best ways to book for no drinks, regular drinks, premium drinks, internet.

Does anyone know what I’m talking about? Does it still exist and is updated?

    thanks!
