Nativeway or Captain Marvin are the two most popular here for GC.

I rented a car and when to the Anhinga Trail. There are many other areas too depending on what you want to actually do.

I was there this past February and it was pretty empty.I found a review on TripAdvisor about crowd in the Pool Bar. I'm going to to be there in February. Will it be crowded this time?Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk

I sent them an email just this past week for our Feb cruise . Got a response 2 days later. Email them instead of using the form and make sure you spellthe address it right.I seem to be having the same Issue with my Sailing on Jan. 2018Sent from my STH100-1 using Tapatalk

Anyone know if the shows are changing at all soon. Feb 2018 will be my 3rd time on Freedom since 2014. The main shows were the same for the ice show and main musical in 2014 and 2017.

This is what Uber says at https://www.uber.com/airports/fll/
How to get picked up at FLL Airport
1 Request when you’re ready to walk outside.
Be sure to choose a ride option that suits your group size and luggage storage needs.
And set your pickup location to the Commercial Passenger Vehicle area, located between terminals.
2 Exit on the arrivals level.
Head to Commercial Passenger Vehicle area. This is where all Uber driver-partners at FLL meet travelers for pickup.
3 Wait curbside.
If you can't find your driver, contact him or her through the app to confirm your location.

In Feb we were told that Alamo at FLL no longer did free shuttles to PE.

In Feb we took taxi minivan from FLL to Port Everglades and back afterwards. Cost was about $16. Fyi

We've booked 3 kids sale free before . It's a waiting game. It happens a few times a year. Summer months are often blackout as well. I always book as soon as I see a price that I am comfortable with. You can always price match later.

I would say it depends on the beach and your kids age and personality. But a cheap bucket and shovel from dollar store was a great suggestion.

I am staying at sheraton suites Plantation for a few days after our cruise. Cruise arrives back on Saturdays. I tried to book with them for an extra day before so we can arrive at 9 am and check in right away. They said it was not possible and they could not guarantee to have our room ready at 9 am. I kept insisting that I was wiling to pay but they kept insisting that it was not possible.
So that's my experience anyhow

With a group of 12 ,Nativeway may give you your own boat. We have only had 12 and 14 on our trips with them.Do they provide transportation to their dock? Any idea of the cost for RT transport? There are 12 in our group, probably 3 taxis?Sent from my STH100-1 using Tapatalk

We used plenty of you tube videos to let th know what to expect on the cruise as well as the different things we were doing at Port stops. There are so many good videos out there that are about the Allure too. My sisters kids are coming with us on their first cruise next year and I sent th out past photos ad videos plus links to YouTube ones.Hi everyone! First time poster here. My family is going on a Royal Caribbean cruise on Allure on 1/7/17. There will be 6 of us total and everyone has cruised before except my 3 yo. I'm looking for a recommendation of books or videos geared toward preschoolers to give her a sense of what to expect with the flight and cruise. Does anyone have any ideas? I know the more I can prepare her beforehand, the better our experience will be.Thanks!

Keep in mind Grand Cayman is a tender stop. Earliest you will be able to get out to a tour is probably 9 which is standard. My tours all started 1 hour after we arrived. So that takes you to 12. You should probably be back by 3:30 latest to get back on board without fearing of missing your departure with tendering an all.
So question is really, what can you do in about another 3 hours.... I think it's possible but you will definitely be feeling some time crunch and looking at your watch lots imho.

If they do stop you because of the water, they seem to be more lenient with needs such as babies etc... but as mentioned, many do bring it on board. As for the wine, I brought my own for last two cruises but now with the corkage fee, I dont know if it is worth it unless you have one you really like or find it for $15 less than a comparable bottle Onboard. And yes on board prices are a rip off but same as going out to restaurants etc..Thank you for asking... I was just assuming it was the same. Will try to bring water since we will have a baby with us and will want to use it for formula. I hope they let us on with it...Sent from my iPad using Forums

Exactly..You honestly won't wear as much as you think you will. Undies and bras can be hand washed in the sink and hung up, bikini's air dry anyway or can be rinsed and hung. Your nicer clothes for dinner will only be worn for a short time and can be Fabreezed and hung up. I was honestly amazed at how much I wore my bikini with a cover up or maxi dressed with flip flops during the day and heels at night.Sent from my STH100-1 using Tapatalk

When I first booked them I realized I misspelled the email address. It is nativway@ NOT nativeway@. No "e" . Hope that helps

The four points Sheraton is cheaper now because they are not officially open yet after refurbishment. They open end of October. It's close to FLL airport and free shuttle .

Honestly their reasonings for compensation does make sense but are in Li e with their policy. Horrible PR but they know that you signed a contract so can't argue much. I was a part of the cruises 3 years ago where Freedom of the Seas had the broken engine. The cruises before and after us got compensation for the shorter port stops and / or changes in itinerary.
Our cruise(dec 7,2017) had a sick child so had to turn back to Grand Cayman. They used that as their excuse to no compensate our sale date. Let me say that I have no issues with having missed a port to save the life of a child but horrible that they used that as their excuse. My TA kept pestering them and in the end we got $50 future cruise obc each. But most got nothing.

Ooh if you were referring to my family rooms, I hope that change happen for our Feb cruise.^ I think some of those cabins were due to be re-categorized to "suites" thereby getting double points but I thought that was not due to happen till next spring.I just read the recategorize information and the family staterooms are just being renamed to remove the word "family" and replace with spacious or ultra spacious so as to not make people think it is just for families. I am saddened as it was like the little hidden secret with RC and the only affordable way for our family of 5 to cruise comfortaby. It was often hard enough to get rooms before unless you book way in advance .

Last cruise it was room 8200 that we got the double points. The cruise before that for room 8500 we got normal points. We are booked again for next year on same category so crossing. fingers for another double points lolWhat stateroom number?Sent from my STH100-1 using Tapatalk

From last cruise in Feb, I was in a Family stateroom for a 6 day cruise on FoS. Everyone in my family got 12 points instead of 6. Not sure why but not complaining.
Had that ever happened to anyone?

Christiansted or Frederiksted???
in St. Croix
Posted
If we book our cruise we will be stopping in Frederiksted in March. How are things now after Covid and the storms.
Our cruise has 6 port stops so we don't want to do excursion on more than 3. So trying to find a stop where we can walk around, explore a bit. Maybe take a taxi somewhere close by or a short Island tour is ok too.
