The cruise was originally booked in November.  I was being asked to pay more.

Beware!  Just got off phone with Celebrity.  They told me the policy for this re-deployment is prevailing rate.  In my case the increase during a phone call on Feb 8th was $900+ which I said I would think about.  When I called today I was told the prevailing rate would now be $2000+ more than the original quote.  I have canceled the booking but would advise anyone quoted no increase and $100 OBC to recheck their booking as I was told that scenario was not one Celebrity was offering. Wouldn’t want anyone to get a shock down the line.  

Thank you all for the input.  Hopefully, the option of a hotel gathering point will be available for us to get to the ship.  🙂

Can anyone provide any insight on where Scenic is docking in Budapest this year?  When I go onto http://www.mahartports.hu/webset32.cgi?MAHARTHajoallomas@@EN@@3@@GOOGLEBOT it shows Scenic ships docking at one of the rural Docks in Esztergom.   We are in Budapest a couple of days prior to our Budapest to Amsterdam cruise so a transfer from airport to ship is not an option and I don’t see any options on the Scenic website for a hotel transfer to the ship if Scenic is indeed docking outside Budapest.   

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated...🙏 

Has anyone stayed in obstructed view balcony cabin E528 or E525 on Sky Princess?  Wondering if they are noisy and what balcony obstructions they have?  Was thinking E528 was a good choice but can't tell what is located between Princess Live and Crown Grill? Does any one know? 🤔

We have just booked our 1st river cruise (Budapest to Amsterdam with Scenic) for September 2020.  Looking for some info on how long we might be in each port?  Do you normally arrive in the morning and leave later in the afternoon or late evening?  We have only ever been on Ocean cruises where port call times are pretty much set in stone.  I understand that due to water levels or lock issues that times will vary but can anyone give us a general idea or is Scenic likely to give us a more detailed itinerary closer to cruise departure?

Looking for recommendations on which side of ship would be best to book a Diamond deck cabin on  Scenic Jade - Budapest to Amsterdam itinerary?  I anticipate spending alot of time on the Sun deck but quiet balcony time is appealing also.  Any help appreciated!  ☺

We are on Pacific Princess in November 2018 (Rome to Venice). One of our ports of call is Ravenna, Italy. We are wondering if Princess will offer a shuttle to town? I have read that the town of Ravenna does offer a shuttle on days cruise ships are in port? Has anyone done this itinerary recently and can shed some light? Any info would be appreciated.

The upgrade fairy visited with a change from E701 to E615 on Royal Princess for April 25th transatlantic. From what I can tell E701 has an almost unobstructed view while E615 is located between 2 lifeboats. Does anyone have any pictures of the view from the balcony of E615 or any info that would help me decide whether to take the upgrade or keep my original cabin...any input would be helpful...:)

Planning a TA on Royal Princess in April 2015 and am looking at cabin E701. Does anyone have any info (ex. it's location, size, noise levels nearby etc) or some pictures to share for this cabin. :confused:
