  1. We were at honeymoon beach 2 days ago and while it was beautiful, snorkeling was subpar and red hook travel total time was 1 hr 15 minutes on way back. So today my husband and I opted for water island. Ferry right next to cruise ship. $5/person one way. 10 minutes to get there. 2 beach bars. The best part was we saw a lot of turtles. I'm so glad we went here and didn't waste time going to st john. Really nice people working both bars and the ferry. Very different from taxi drivers and ferry operators at red hook and st john

We will be on the RC Harmony of Seas in June and this is just what i was looking for. THANK YOU!! Was the ferry to Water Island easy to recognize? How often do they leave/return to the port?

  2. I know this is a long shot, but we have tried EVERYTHING else.

If you were on the Carnival Dream out of New Orleans June 12-19 and found a Samsung Phone in a pink and green case please contact me.

The phone itself has been replaced, however because she had the phone on airplane mode ALL the photos my daughter took during that week did not load to her cloud and she is heartbroken.

    Thank you for your time.

  3. I love the ice from the machines, it is the small soft kind. Yes, I drink a lot of water and the tap was fine. Me and my husband ordered a 12 pack plus we got our complimentary waters . After a week's cruise we had waters left over.

I know this post is a few months old but I am on the Dream in June and you have no idea how happy I am to see this about the ice. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to fill a cup with this type of ice and eat/drink on it all day.

Where are these ice machines located?

  4. Thanks everyone for the recommendations. It looks like we may have to go with the city tour and/or the ruins. There are only 2 or 3 of us who would be up for an adventure such as cave tubing or snorkeling. But Im sure we will get the chance to be adventurous in one of the other ports.

For those of you who did the non-ship excursions, did you pre-book or just arrange them when you got there?

    Thanks again.

  5. We will be in Belize on the Carnival Dream on June 16 with family members ranging from 9 to 60ish.

We are looking for something to do together that wont break the bank.

Any personal recommendations for tours/ tour guides would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

  6. Are you allowed to drop off your luggage at the port before your check-in time?

I am sailing on the Dream in June. We are staying in a hotel the night before in Metarie and taking a taxi to the port on Sunday morning. My plan is to choose the 1:00 check-in so that my daughter and I will have time to walk around a little before getting on the ship. Has anyone done this? If so, how far did you walk?

  7. I Just started looking for hotels and I think I am too late.

We have a group of 17 driving in from both Georgia and Texas and many of the hotels dont have anything available.

Is there something big going on in New Orleans the weekend of June 11th?

If anyone has any leads on affordable rooms it would be greatly appreciated.

  8. the past week (march 27), there was a white night in the dance club with drink specials one night. Don't remember any other theme nights (although there was a mardi gras party one night towards the end of the cruise).

    thank you!!!

  9. Some specialty coffees are:

    Cappuccino

    Frappuccino

    Cafe Latte

    Mochachino

    Espresso

Do you know how much the Frappuccinos are? Or is there somewhere i can see the drink price lists? I know the non-alcoholic frozen drinks are $5.25.

I want to put some "Cruise Cash" on my teenagers card and trying to determine what is a good amount.

  10. Hi Angiem2017,

Hope you are having a wonderful cruise. Thanks so much for posting the drink menus. I am on the Dream in June and trying to decide if I should buy Cheers or purchase drinks a la carte. This is extremely helpful. THANK YOU!!!

  11. Thanks everyone for your recommendations. From my research it looks as if Dolphin Cove will offer a better Dolphin Swim experience. I ask Royal Carribbean which excursion they offer but I got this reply:

"Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, our agreements with our tour operators do not allow us to release the names of our tour"

Looks like I will be booking my dolphin swim/sting ray excursion on my own.

  12. I have been doing some research about which beach to visit during our upcoming cruise in July on Navigator of the Seas. I have seen a few videos that show what looks like inflatable playground equipment in the water. Can anyone verify that it is located on Tiki Beach or somewhere else.

    Thank you.

  13. I swear I tried doing a search for an answer to my question but there was simply too much to look thru!

Im interested in the $40pp/pd Select drink package. My husband drinks diet soda and light beer and I drink white wine spritzers. Is it possible to just buy one package and him and I share it? I assume you can only get one drink at a time. Does anybody know how long you have to wait to get the next drink?

    Thanks!

 I have only been on this message board for a short time, but from what I have witnessed, please prepare yourself for some serious backlash and questions about your integrity.

    Good Luck
